Munafn got a reaction from Friend16 in N-400 September 2016 Filers
Hi - Well in my case it was an involuntary reschedule due to natural weather calamity so I didn't have to submit anything. They rescheduled me automatically. My original interview was march 14th. On march 16th, they updated the status online to say that a new interview date has been scheduled and to expect the letter in mail. I didn't get the letter until the 25th of march though so about ten days after they updated my status.

Munafn got a reaction from karimaelo in Green Card tracking, and USCIS case status check
You wil most likely need to wait for a good 2-3 months. The card production process takes time. IF you don't hear anything in 60 days then call USCIS and request for information.

I would be truthful and say just that you have been visiting frequently as you want to be with your spouse. They may ask about financial support. If you have a joint sponsor then there shouldn't be any issue. But if the petitioner is the primary sponsor it may raise a red flag unless the petitioners work allows them to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Hope it helps -

Hi everyone
Our visa interview experience:
Arrived at the embassy around 7am and joined the queue. At 7.30 they started calling people with 8am appointments to form a separate queue.
A pre-screen officer checked passport And directed to go through security. After that, went in to the embassy and at reception handed in the interview letter and was given the number i-901. This number is the ticket number and will be called on a large screen. By this time a lot of people with other categories were also waiting and being seen. After about ten mins at 8.10 am I was called to the counter to submit all original docs to a pre-screener and get finger prints done. I also submitted two photos.
Then I was asked to wait again until my number was called.
After waiting for about 45 mins and at 9am I was called back to the counter and this time it was the CO. Everyone was very nice and courteous. The CO asked the following questions:
When and where did you meet?
When did you physically meet for the first time ?
Where is your spouse from originally?
How long has your spouse been in the states?
What university did your spouse attend in the states?
Where is your spouse currently living?
When do you intend to travel to the states?
That was it and then she said everything looks good and that the visa has been approved.
Thank you so much everyone for the support, the advice and encouragement for this past year and a half. I know I wouldn't have been able to maintain my sanity had it not been for this family. Thank you Habel, Sbai, hope wings, Sam, susdan and everyone else that has been with me or following this journey. Good luck to everyone who is getting through this journey and I hope our paths cross some time in the future.

Hi Sam,
Yes while that is correct, I feel that they schedule interviews in advanced based on case complete date and then priority date. As long as the case has been completed before scheduling begins, although this may not necessarily be true. Since you are already current, I hope and pray they are able to squeeze you into September. Nevertheless keep calling and definitely call tomorrow and find out. Keep us posted.

Hey guys, so with Dec-15 as the cut off, really hoping we see a good sizeable movement for next month. Roughly 3 weeks before we start hearing about interviews for September. All the best to all the remaining December filers and January filers and possibly some Feb filers too! Please don't forget to update over here once you've heard back about your checklists or as the case gets completed.

Were you calling to find out if your case was complete?

Munafn got a reaction from ashish tailor in F2A - January 2014 Filers Priority Date
I think so too but it will cut off on the 15th, since the PD only cuts off on the 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd of every month. since we know someone here had an interview with dec 9 PD, the next date it will cut off is most likely the 15th. Hopefully a little more!

Munafn reacted to Nich-Nick in US embassy in London appintment times
The UK FORUM is your best source for threads about London specific information. This thread shows "How long?" experiences. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/550974-interview-date-to-visa-in-hand-how-long-2015-data/?p=7693446
Most are K1s, but you will note the CR1s were slightly faster than the others around their interview date. There has been a two week stoppage of visa issue (printing) that just resumed, so the times will be longer than normal until London catches up. Bookmark the thread and check how it is going around the time you interview.
All visas (passports) issued by London are turned over to DX courier. The courier emails when they have your passport and says when you can pick up at the depot or the day it will be delivered.
Your choice--
Pick up at a DX Secure depot- no charge
Delivery to your home- $30
Things to read:
Embassy statement about time of interview changes. It said the same thing for May/June, then changed to this current June/July alert http://www.usembassy.org.uk/specialrelationshipmagazine/do-you-have-an-immigrant-or-fiancee-visa-interview-scheduled-for-may-or-june/
(The URL still says May)

Munafn got a reaction from CMBx3 in December 2013 Priority Date
I never trusted mygcvisa.com. The predictions are always just predictions. They usually assume a 4 week average movement. At the very least 4 weeks would be nice every month. It's better than most other categories so I'm really thankful. Also better than no movement at all lol

Munafn got a reaction from aeksh in NVC process for VSC filers from Aug 2013- Jun 2014
Did you get a refusal notice or a request for evidence notice (RFE)? they are different things. If they are asking for additional evidence, then it doesn't sound like a refusal. Your PD is May 2014 - which means you have a long way to go before your interview date or even priority date becoming current - at least close to a year so I don't think you will be impacted in anyway. Why don't you start with itemizing what you have submitted so far and what exactly USCIS has requested from you.

Munafn got a reaction from Dordor in June 2015 Interview for F2A - Sept fillers
Regardless of category, NVC only schedules interviews at a set time, that was the entire intent and it was very useful information.

Munafn got a reaction from paudo in Vermont Service Center Aug 2013- Dec 2013 Filers
Well i think if the VB for May cuts off at around middle of August, that would put it roughly 1 month away from the Sept 30 date of VSC.
Now NVC requires a minimum of 60 days to process an application sent over so i think this month of march would be the right time for them to start approving applications. since majority of applications between sept 2013 and probably February 2014 were in VSC we should be able to start seeing approvals.
They can't keep saying sept 30 if the Vb priority date soars past that date. they need to freaking start processing now.
