abutalha...How many days after you paid the IV fee did the Fee Payment status showed Paid and when did your DS-260 get unlocked

    Thanks

  3. I sent the IV package and forgot to make copies of the originals :( and didn't include any copies in the package just the originals. Is this gna be a checklist? Has anyone gotten check listed for this before?

The way NVC is functioning you can get checklist ...As per their instructions they need photocopy...One reason they take photocopies is that you can ask for originals at the interview...I would suggest call NVC and check...As you have recently sent the package I would send another package with the Document Cover sheet and Photocopies..

  4. Not who you are asking, but I can tell you what we did. We just used a black gel pen and let the ink dry for a couple hours.

    Thanks Skiwalker !!

    Thank you!

I am filing electronically. So i just inserted my two photographs and typed case # and name on top of the page.

But if I would file it regular way, I would just write it using the black or blue pen making sure I do not press the pen too hard.

    Thanks

  5. I see that there are changes on the DoS website about sending AOS and IV documents in one package. We have already sent the AOS and I am about to send our IV package. Should i include AOS documents again? we do electronic processing.

Thats for people who will be entering the NVC now....I am sending my IV package soon and I am not sending the AOS again....There is a chance that when they start reviewing you AOS based on your scan date they also might review your IV docs if they are there at that point..... btw what are you using to write the beneficialry details at the back of photographs ...pencil or balck pen/....Thanks

  6. Hello

In the photogrpahs to be sent with the IV Civil Docs we need to write the (on the back, write: beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and case number)

What should we use to write these : Pencil or Black Pen

    Thanks

Yes, we will be getting our originals back at interview. The way you want to send it is fine because NVC sent a list of required documents to BatmanFlow and that is how it was listed, first all originals, then photocopies.

    Thanks a lot dilmera !!

  7. Hi All,

I am filling out my DS=260 Yeh! and have a question about dates.

For addresses they are asking for Month and year. So do I say for example: May 2000 to JUNE 2005 and then JUNE 2005 to July 2007 or do I say May 2000 to MAY 2005 and June 2005 to July 2007. If I moved out the end of the month do I "overlap" the months or not?

With the dates i go with the first option

So I have submit my ds261 today and that is what I can read on the ceac page

"To process your case, you must first pay any required fees. Then, each applicant accompanying the principal applicant to the United States will need to complete the online IV Application (form DS-260). The IV Application may be partially completed and finished later, or may be completed at one time. However, once submitted, please contact the NVC if you need to update the form.

After submitting the DS-260, mail all supporting documentation (as listed on the Documents The Applicant Must Submitweb page) for each applicant to the NVC.

Once received, it will take the NVC 2 to 4 weeks to review your case. If any additional information is required after the review, the NVC will notify the applicant (or the applicants agent). "

I am especially happy about the 2 to 4 weeks part or was like that before and I still need to look for 60 days ? :)

It has been there for a long time on that page
