Also, currently (and illegally I might add) they are only scheduling appointments for a specific list of reasons, such as imminent emergency travel, loss of benefits, loss of job, etc , so choose what you say carefully.

After filing my I-791 in May 2018,  I did my biometrics in July 2018 and I received a RFE in May 2019. I sent in the evidence for the RFE in August 2019. (Two days after the deadline - I was waiting in joint retirement and the most recent tax documentation.) At this point, I had an 18 month extension receipt letter. 

In September 15th, I received notice that my case was transferred to the MO National Benefits Center.

I haven't heard anything yet. My 18 month extension was about to expire so I requested an Infopass appointment and received a year extended in November 2019.

The year extension is almost up and I haven't heard anything.

I just submitted a "Outside normal processing time " request today and I haven't contacted my Congressperson nor have I filed for N400.

Anyone have any insight on how to get another extension via Infopass appointment or an update on my case overall?

On March 24 ,2020, we mailed the supplementary evidence required by the USCIS and they confirmed on April 1st.

Also you are doing ROC not K1 AOS and ROC is still possible to have interview waived.  But I think it was within the last year or so they decided to interview all K1 AOS... You can also use the various tracking stuff on VJ to find people in your local office and see how long they waited for 751 interviews.

Sure you could contact a congressperson or lawyer, but they cannot do any action to speed up your process.

I applied for ROC in May 2018. I received in a RFE in May 2019. I sent additional information in Aug 2019. I received a notice of transfer to NBC for interview in Sept 2019. I was a little frustrated because applicants in my timeframe with RFE were getting approved for their 10 year green card. 
My 18 month extension is up in Nov 2019. Therefore, i will probably had to schedule an Infopass appointment for a i-551 stamp. 

I am a NYC filer. According to @Villanelle great advice. I will probably look for some action late Dec - early Jan at the earliest.

Thank you so much for the clarification. I didn't realise that you didn't receive notification of the transfer to the local office. 

My 18 month extension is up in two weeks. I guess, when I go for my Infopass appointment. I will find out more details.

I went from my Biometrics appointment. 8am at the Borough Hall. I came 15 minutes later but I only spent like 30 minutes in all. 

I have a quick question. I think I lost my initial NOA of my application. I know I would need that paper to travel. 
What would be the recourse for this? 

I also received the Biometrics letter yesterday.

So I just received my notice for approval of my green card via email today with the Notice Date - May 5th, 2016

No interview. This was after one RFE. There was no update on the website.

They said I would received my permanent residence card in three weeks.

I will update then.

I am acrossing my fingers that the medicial will be ok. I didn't receive a RFE for it, just a missing entry on my financial form.

So I am looking hope alive.

I had RFE on my I-485 as well, and I was told by USCIS that if the status does not change within 60 days of USCIS receiving the RFE response, I should call and put an inquiry. So, you could put inquiry on May 9th if there is no status change until then.
