Finally an update from USEM. After months of furious emails and follow ups via email (never called USEM), we finally got an interview. Wife and kids will redo med at SLEC a week prior to interview, will be staying in one of the condos across USEM via airbnb. So to all F2As there, our case is moving but slowly.😅
PS>
my biometrics for naturalization also falls on the same day as their intrvw. It’s a good day.

I would assume that you are LPR since your case is F2a.You dont need to file 2 separate I-130 for your children. They are automatic derivatives to the principal beneficiary. Not unless you are an American citizen, then you need to file separate for your children.

This just shows how much Duterte and the leadership in the Philippines are in way over their heads dealing with this pandemic, nothing they do works
This is a lost country at the moment........
so you are saying it is PDuts fault for the COVID surge? If the people in NCR plus do their due diligence in wearing mask, social distancing etc... There would be no surge. have you check other cities COVID situation? Davao Region has 0 new cases as of mArch 25&26 because of the strict implementation and the residents doing their part.
9k+ new cases yesterday. I imagine more thN 9k tbh. With the ECQ back, USEM services gets stuck again.

It is not yet confirmed if she will run as pduts wants Bong Go to run.As a former resident of Davao City, I can say she is more strict than her father, more fierce and more stubborn. She has listens to what her father has to say but in the end,it does not dictate what she wants nor impose.
We will see...

or use airbnb.

So I just casually check the status of my wife and kids visa status F2A, since I got curious if there were any changes, supposed to have interview on last March but got cancelled because of the lockdown. So low and behold, I saw a refused status... Am not sure if this was already in a different thread but can anyone shed me some light? Probably a technical glitch for those whose interview got cancelled?

On a side note, do not apply on the day the filing calculator suggested, apply 1-2 days after.

Same situation with me before. Mom just sent opt out letter to nvc to retain my f2b case instead of Changing it to f1.

No changes on mine.

They stop mailing transcript. I just wished they would include all the previous years like 2015 for tax transcript

I filed on a Friday. No difference other than that my receipt notice was only available on my online account the following Monday. Not like that's an issue or anything, the receipt date is still the same as the date you clicked "submit".
Ok cool. Thank you

For those who already filed online, is there a difference applying on a weekend and weekdays? I am still contemplating if I just wait until Monday to file but a part of me wants to do it now. Lol
N600 or US Passport
in Philippines
Posted
I am trying to figure out if I should go to the route of N600 for my minor kids (derivative) which is kinda expensive or just go get em US passport which is much cheaper.
Thoughts or input anyone?
