Congrats on the progress

I'm quite calm about it, beyond excited that it's FINALLY happening!! LOL! I was teasing my hubby because he tends to forget things . I'm the "over organized/prepared" one.

Just called NVC and YES the interview is scheduled for September 17th at 10:30AM. She told that email has not gone out yet.

Thank you dwheels76,and i will definitely be just around the corner,when i checked ceac it says issued....i dont know why but i welled up it finally struck me...Im really coming home,it was a 9 years journey with the son who fought for me to be back home....I guess with 9 years of absence in his life and thru skype and FB i raised a son very well....KUDOS to all of you here in VJ it was a road much lighter to travel thinking I was not alone....(im very sentimental lol... )...again, a lot of thank you!

I see that on the spreadsheet, and someone else said they got their date scheduled on the 2nd (which was a Saturday). I'm wondering if they were actually scheduled during the prior week when the rest of round 1 was done and are reporting the date they received the interview letter?
ANYHOO, hopefully you hear some news this week!!!!
Edit: I do wonder if it's an Embassy that isn't that busy, they may get scheduled right away as opposed to other Embassies?

I am waiting at airport for my flight, did already POE in Montreal and it was fast and easy! Thank you for all the help and support, I wish you good luck to all of you in your journey.

Before posting questions, please read the wiki I wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites! For up to date time frames, you can view my spreadsheet here. If you would like to be added (or have your entry updated), then please fill out the form here (please read the instructions at the top carefully, especially the update part as people aren't filling the form out correctly [they're filling out information not needed]). And before submitting the form, please make sure the consulate on your timeline isn't the default Armenia. I will NOT add/update you if it is. Also make sure your timeline is completely filled out up to the point where you are. If you want to see a visual of the NVC process, please view my flowchart here. I will be much less active in answering posts in these monthly threads, so don't bother asking me questions directly and please don't send me PMs with questions. If you send me a PM with a question that can be posted here, I will NOT reply. Just post them here for everyone to see and someone will come along to answer. Remember to be patient (re: just post once and wait) And if for whatever reason, you can't find the answer, try searching both on this website and on Google. It's amazing what you can find if you search
If you're wondering about time frames, I've got a spreadsheet available for a reason And if that doesn't help, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process

Something new!! So, if you followed last month's thread, you'd know there's a new spreadsheet layout (more detailed) and thus new request form I put together. Since time frames have gone considerably up for each step in the process over the last couple of months, I thought it'd be handy to create more columns to track all these steps. Please, please, please read this paragraph carefully before filling out the request form. Do NOT fill it out if you do not plan on staying on top of your case. Some of the dates require you to call NVC and find things out as soon as possible. If you are not going to do this, do NOT bother to fill my form out. This spreadsheet isn't for those that just want to get on my spreadsheet. It's for those that want to help in calculating average time frames for each step. This includes having the correct consulate listed in your timeline (not Armenia!) and having your timeline completely up to date. I'll still keep the "lighter" version available until the end of the year (or sooner, depending how things go). Also, please take the time to fill out my form carefully. Pretend it's one of the immigration forms Because this time around, I will be issuing my own sort of checklist to people who incorrectly fill my form out. Trust me, you don't want to get one So, to summarize, only fill out the new request form if you're serious. All others need not apply. This new spreadsheet layout can still be found on the same link as the old one, it's just the second tab on the bottom, labelled 'New 2014'. If you are on the old layout (whether you have a case complete or not), you can still transfer to the new one if you wish. Just fill out the form and choose 'Add'. I'll happily switch you over. Just make sure to fill out all the new dates! Now, for what some of you have been waiting for, the link to my new request form can be found here.

We are off to Cuba for vacation on this Saturday. It will be less stressful vacation now:)

So finally AOS shows N/A for my wife's case. Hope it is a case complete. Ripu is calling NVC to confirm. Ours has been a long journey at NVC. My case was completed on June 4th but my wife's case took so long as NVC lost her checklist email reply. Our case is processing electronically.
