They have just as much right to be happy about their approvals as anyone else.

Everyone of us is impatient and stressed, but it doesn't mean that we can be mean to each other, just because they are CSC filers. They're not guilty or anything. We don't have to be so hateful towards them.
I've seen on other topics too, that TSC filers get mad at CSC filers when they comment on topics, even though they don't say anything offensive. What's wrong with you people?? Please let's not be childish and mean just because ours is taking long and they got approved so much earlier. Let's be reasonable.

After you rather rude responses to this poster about not reading previous posts, you should be glad he/she has stayed on and tried to give you suggestions at all, let alone demand that they do your research for you about supplying links to YOUR congressional representatives. That info is easily available with a search. I know you're frustrated by the delays, but it's no reason to a) be short with people who are trying to help you, or b) not make a little more effort on your own once given a suggestion.

    Hello December filers!

No one will get an RFE for those things because they are not required with the I-485. You told others to read the instructions, but you have apparently not done so yourself. Show me where in the I-485 instructions it states any of those things are listed as a requirement. What page?
It also does not matter for getting approved without an interview. How much non-required evidence you include with your I-485 application has nothing to do with being waived for the interview or not. It appears to be random who is selected or not. Show me proof that adding in extras means you will not be interviewed.
Also, being waived an interview is not really a good thing lately. Those getting interviews typically receive their approval and green cards faster than those not interviewing.

I don't think you have read the I-485 form.
OP: You don't need to show proof of a bona fide marriage for AOS from K-1 because your relationship was already vetted for the K-1 visa. If chosen for an interview you will show proof then, but there is a chance you won't have an interview. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that, Hope you solve your situation!
This is what i understood... In every country you have specific guidelines and procedures to get married,For example, in Venezuela, we need to get married first at a "Registro Civil" A.K.A(Also Known as Office of Vital Records then if we wanted to proceed with marrying at a Church then we also have alot of stuff to complete for that aswell such as getting baptist( This applies to those who havent, also have completed a confirmation and both of us would need to take a course that entitles "Premarital Counseling" etc..This would take months for us to actually complete it. but in your case you had a month but did not finish because you or your fiance had to get back to work. (Sorry I dont know whether your beneficiary or the Petitioner). This means that you actually did not get married, so you went ahead and applied for a K1 VISA instead......Is this right or am i wrong?? I am really sorry but yes you should contact USCIS or NVC to study your case further and to allow you to proceed with your K1

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure if you get your Senate and congressman involved they should be able to help. I've heard of similar situations and one they enlisted help they were able to get approved. Did they ask if you attempted to marry, or was that information volunteered?

How did they figured out about everything?? Did I tell them?

Can you not look for part time work? If you can't, there are plenty of hobbies. Scrapbooking (as suggested by the other poster) is a great idea.
I crochet, sew, cook and bake. In fact, I started (unintentionally) a little business with my cakes. I made a cake for a coworker, now everyone wants to buy cakes. I cook all the time, friends often call me and ask when they can come over for dinner. I'm 27 and never in my life spent more than an hour in a kitchen at any one time...then I started watching YouTube videos and reading blogs and just trial and error and discovered "wow this is so easy" then it was "this is so good! why have i never done this before?!" and it's nice.
I was short on cash, so I picked up crocheting. I spent maybe $15 on hooks and yarn, and started watching videos online (mooglyblog.com is a great site) and started making gifts for my hubby and my family and now friends. I work, I've always worked so I'm out from 8:30-4:30 but when I was home I had nothing and was very bored so it resulted in me demanding my fiancees constant undivided attention which isn't good. So I picked up these things and now when he's out and can't talk, I keep myself busy with crocheting, cooking, whatever.
From what I understand you are home often, and these are all fun things you can do at home for very little money.

Its indeed a visa journey. Logo of this site has said it all. Journey filled with emotional ups and downs, loneliness, where overtaking is lawfully allowed, last can become first. It is not when you file but when you got approved, that matters.
Today, we have December filers that have their visas in hands, some are on interview stage, some just got approved, some are waiting for approval while some are waiting for RFE.
I've not seen my fiancee in the last one year one, and our first child will be 5months on 11th. I don't have opportunity to touch him, bless him and raise him up and show him whole world. My fiancee is out of work for the past 6 months to take of our son. Its not easy at all for us but I know as going gets tough, tough gets going. Hopefully, I'll be there for my son one year birthday in November.
I really appreciate kindness of December filers community, though I don't post but I visit this thread more than USCIS page.
Everyday is a PLUS, WE ARE GETTING CLOSER EVERYDAY

How would money in the bank get an I-129F petition approved faster? You do not even include financial documentation with the I-129F petition. Wealthy people do not get their petitions approved any faster than someone with less money.

The only thing that can be done to affect the speed of petition approval is to make sure your petition is well organized and everything required is included. Beyond that, there is nothing you can do.

I am at 3 months and 5 days, both college educated and working good jobs...we were last updated January 6 with an Alien registration #, other than that I've heard nothing. You can follow the December K1 filers thread...they update often there. You're at TSC and they're moving ridiculously slow. I looked at the trends for VJ members and of the 6 people from my country (Morocco) who filed in December only 3 were approved, 2 from CSC and 1 from TSC and that was only just last week. There's nothing we can do until we hit 5 months, I guess thats when we're allowed to complain.

Abby88, that is some amazing fate right there!! Sounds like he must have changed his mind about you being just a rich girl

1kiki, very cute, congratulations! (btw your username reminds me of that line in Shakira's song "Loca")

Tina and Johan, that is awesome, I've never even heard of a pen-pal site! they ought to link directly to visajourney hahaha

Ben + Michelle, yeah people don't typically go looking for a LDR but you can't stop love

My fiance and I met in a competitive online video game. About 3 years ago, I hadn't played it in months and one day I was just really bored and decided what the hell... I'll play a match. When I got in I heard everyone on my team speaking Spanish, which I was learning in college at the time, so I kept in touch with them to practice my Spanish. I got to know one of the guys really well and realized he was ideal for me. And the rest is history
