The NVC sent me an email advising it was approved. When I called the NVC they told me they had just sent my case to the embassy in Belgium.

They mailed me the expedite approval to my physical address and they emailed the beneficiary informing her to schedule a medical and an interview date.

Hello everyone! I received a notice today that the NVC has approved my expedite. I sent in the email to the wrong email address 2 weeks ago. I resubmitted the request to the proper email address (only after I saw Saylin post the correct email address in this group) 3 days ago and this morning I received the notice that it was approved! I am shocked!

I finally received the IV fee invoice email and paid the IV fee! I had waited for 28 darn business days.
I'm sending my IV package next Monday. I hope I don't receive a checklist! So scary! I'm peeing in my pants!
Since I had 28 business days to prepare for the IV package, I've revised my IV cover letter 3-4 times. I've decided to include documents they MIGHT need. For example, I'm sending them my original marriage certificate AND certified copy JUST IN CASE my reviewer doesn't like one of them.
Getting a checklist on the AOS package is okay since it won't change your timeline since we have to wait for up to 30 business days for the IV fee invoice. However, getting a checklist on the IV package is a crime since it'll delay the application timeline by 2 months! OMG! Fingers crossed!

Did you all have documents translated to English? I saw that they can be in the "official language of the country"....is this true? My husband is from Belgium and all of his paperwork is in Dutch.

My bf did absolutely nothing ! He wanted to use a lawyer which would have costed us (him) 5.000 bucks plus other fees. We recently graduated so I didn't wanna spend that much . Instead, I did some research and with websites like VJ , I just put all the paper together and mailed it. Saved us thousands of bucks. It was a pain in the *** organizing stuff , I told him "do whatever I tell you and don't ask any questions " , he did exactly what I told him and everything worked out.

Yeah, I just noticed it was different between the two forms. Still though, for the I-864EZ, it says "if it's different", so why they're issuing checklists is ridiculous. If they want it to be required, they should remove that if statement.

Why not quote 33/35 business days then? >.>

They're step by step and easy to follow. Please read through them carefully. Do not leave blank spaces - write "N/A" if there is a blank space.

Originally I got an Interview schedule by NVC for August 18, by mistake when I was creating an account for Loomis courier , by mistake I schedule an appointment for August 21st and immediately I cancelled that appointment. I called this morning to confirm that my original appointment was still schedule and they informed me that appointment was cancelled too (because of my stupidity ). Then she said we have an opening for August 5th, would you like to take that appointment? WOULD I LIKE TO TAKE THAT APPOINTMENT? LOL of course I said! so at the end it paid off.

Just spoke with my wife, and we were approved. They told her she can pick up her visa tomorrow. Thank you to everyone at VJ for all the help and being in the same boat with us. Paid IV invoice ...now if a miracle would happen and I would get the DS260 by tomorrow before I leave on Wed to be without internet for 3 weeks!! I will HAVE to figure something out.....

How long is forever?

Stay busy. Throw yourself into things. Find clubs, meetings, people to see. Download the meetup app. Take a class, build a garden in your new home (if you are moving into an apartment then look for co-ops plots in your city/town). Look for other people in your situation and don't get bogged down by the change.
Make this move what you want it to be!
