  2. My First interview was on 23rd Jan 2013.. I was asked during interview to refile my petition as it was expired.. I did refile Form I-129F..And Again it was approved. In USA.. My Second interview was on 6th March 2014..I was asked by CO to submit additional Documents 1) Proof of Evidence and 2) joint Sponsor... My Fiance Income was Good enough we email to embassy and they said they only need proof of On going relationship.. I printed Some chat and emails and picture and send to Embassy.. My Case was updated.. after Interview on 28,29, and 30 April and then on 2, 8, and 12 they issued my visa..

************1) Proof of Ongoing relationship and 2) Joint Sponsor

Thanks for your info share...They took so long time to call you for second interview...Embassy called me on 1st August 2013 & second interview just after 2 months on 1st October 2013 and put me in AP without any update for long time and recently they send their field investigation team to our home for nothing...

Lets see and hope for the best...Prayer for us as well plz...

So nice of you brother...wud u plz share how long was ur AP and what was the sequence of your updates ?

wud appreciate a lot if u can find some time to share with all of us...

  4. Same happened to us. Yahoo informed us that someone from USA with un identifiable IP login in my wife's email account. Yahoo disabled my wife email account. After replying to security questions, Yahoo activated her account. Then after about month, same happened to my email account.

I am sure it had to do with my wife's IV.

Ye Bro...Same happened with my wife's yahoo account but they did not disable it permanently...after 24 hours her's started working again.

Problem is they work so slow...she had made every thing ready in US and decorated the home with plenty of stuff but when nothing happened to our case even they returned me to wait in AP after second interview then she immediately came to Pakistan and she is here for about 8 months and we are in AP for last 10 months. We informed the Embassy same time when she arrived here but shockingly they don't know that she is here.

The proofs we provided to US Embassy are much more than any one provides to any other country's embassy but still AP is out of understanding.

  5. Well I received quite the surprise this morning when the Dept of Homeland Security showed up on my doorstep unannounced at 9:30 am on a Saturday morning. An immigration officier came to my home and asked to come in so he could ask me some questions. He was very nice and very respectful to me. I answered all of his questions and thankfully my father was here this morning to help me with some yard work. The officer also asked him some questions as well. All this time I thought that immigration was investigating my husband...well turns out...they were investigating me (the USC). Well I had our wedding collage above my bed and I had just cleaned out my closet a couple of months ago because I thought my husband was getting his visa with the series of updates he received. He even went so far as to take photographs of my bedroom and closet.

I suppose they did the surprise visit to try to catch me in a lie. Well...as he could see for himself...nothing to hide...no lies have been told. We really do just love each other.

They are doing the same with all couples these days in which one is american and the other is Paki...their field investigation team visited us last month as well and asked different questions from people who had no concern with us ever...lol... They showed my photo to different people and asked them silly questions about us which they were surprised what to say...it looked like they forced the people to say what they wanted i.e., they asked the people do they know me and i am married or single...one guy said yes he is married with an american woman lets go I take u to his home where they are living together...They got surprised and said how you know (bcoz they had no idea she is living in Paki for last 7 months whereas we informed them several times through emails which they never replied) ..that neighbor started laughing and said lets go i show you reality for what you came here...they left him and moved to other shops and market place and again started asking such questions. Then proceeded to District Muncipility Office to know the guy who did our Nikah..it was looking like they wanted to get some wrong information from unknown people to spoil our case...but when they found nothing wrong they left...next day thay called that Nikah guy along with Director of Muncipility Deptt. with all official docs. to US Embassy ISB to confirm if our marriage is registered and bonafide and it really made us pissed off because NVC already verified and confirmed our marriage to be true and on basis of our marriage certificate my wife got Dubai & Paki visas on husband's sponsorship as well and NVC accepted it and then i was interviewed so there is no need to play with Marriage Certificate after 10 months passed in AP.

By the way we informed Embassy several times about our address but they never replied our mails and we felt like they dont need it perhaps or they might updated their record silently but their team went to wrong address where we are not residing now so it means US Embassy is doing nothing with our emails even if we update them with our information...

Apart of that they dont know that an american citizen is living in Pakistan who informed them several times through mail & email bcoz their phones are not accessible but they dont care and when their investigation team got shocked to know she is here, our ex-neighbors got surprised too...

Besides, same day when their field investigation team visited our old residence, they checked my wife's e-mail and went through it all bcoz she got an email from the adminitrator that her e-mail was checked by Sumone for some reason...They did it perhaps ecause she is in Paki else they might have visited her in USA if she had been there like they visited your residence. But every thing stopped after that and now atleast they know that we are living together which is enough to prove our relation more bonafide, real and stronger than their all documents.

But the way they are playing with people's life is not good...Just pray everyone come out of this AP soon.

  6. Happy Birthday! I am sorry you guys have not heard from me in a while. Visa journey website locked me out and it took some time for them to fix the problem.

I pray each and everyone of you get out of AP soon. It is great that you are all keeping track of your updates and know that they are or are not working on your case.

To those of you that are new to AP I want to say not to get upset with people who have been in AP longer and can't seem to answer your questions. The embassy keeps the reason for AP a mystery. No one knows why they are in AP. I have seen some couples with an age difference get their visas within a few months and others have to wait forever.

There is no attorney or congressman that can get you out of AP or make it go faster. The embassy was given this power over AP and visas by congress. The embassy can do what it wants and there is no one to stop them. So please just realize that all you can do is pray and wait. Call NVC and ask questions that is your right. Email the embassy if you want to and it makes you feel better. That is also your right. But do not get upset with people who have been suffering longer than you. AP is hell for everybody.

    Welcome back...

  7. salaam everyone, here is an update on our case my husband went to the embassy today for oath and fingerprints everything went okay, but as we had suspected before they give him his passport to have it renewed and send back to them, we had emailed them twice before and asked them to send the passport so he can have it renewed but they never send it, he was told that his administrative processing is finish, now lets see how long they will take to return his passport with visa once its renewed.

  10. I been on VJ for about 2 years now and I think either you get it within 9 months, or after 1 year and 2/3 months or ur in the long wait list ldepends on how long they take to review make a decision on ur case. When our case reached 13 months in AP NVC and embassy told me our case was under review for final decision however due to our luck the decision was our case needed further AP &^&$^^$^$ lol... Now we been waiting for 18 months. There were many updates throughout this time we had weeks were it got updated regularly. Updates don't mean much it can be their working on ur case but visa is not guaranteed by it. One positive thing these days is that after a year they call back for oath and fingerprints after that most of the people are told visa is ready for issue in 7-10 days we were from few of the unlucky ones who even after oath and new set of fingerprints were told it needs further AP. Inshallah hope ur wait is not as long.

There is no time frame for AP to be over but VJ history shows that mostly visas are issued between the months of SEPTEMBER till MARCH. April till july are dead months and one reason which I found out with mine and people's experience that mostly Embassy staffs (American/Canadian/European) go on vacation in these months bcoz of hot summer here in Pakistan. But still pray for all to come out of AP very soon iA...
