My fiancé filed his 1040 through a tax firm and they did it for him (he's employed). They provide a copy for download online of his latest 1040 and he downloaded this and sent this to me. The form had a big "Just a copy" watermarked on all the pages. I assume this is because the original was sent to IRS. Is this downloaded copy with this "just a copy" watermark sufficient to be submitted for my embassy interview? Thanks so much!!

Must've got mixed up LOL. Darnell, thanks for the tip, yeah only clothes n shoes mostly. I was told that clothes cost much more in the US than in the PH, that's tire right? I'm going to Texas I was told it would be cheaper if I buy clothes and shoes here coz I can get good quality for a significantly lower price, your thoughts?

Thanks Bill & Ivy, that price on the balikbayan box was really helpful. I have yet to find a shipper from PH to US that charges less than $150, so it's really looking like adding an extra box is much better than shipping it thanks so much! thanks too Mimolicious and Sentabrigante

I'm confused on what's the more affordable way of moving my stuff to the US. I thought that it will be cheaper to ship from Manila to Texas, but based on what I've understood so far, it may be cheaper to pay extra baggage. Anyone who's experienced this? I might exceed the alloted two luggage and one carry on that most airlines allow. What should I do with my extra big box? Appreciate all the help, thanks so much!!!

Hi all I have an iPhone with a two year lock down with Globe Telecom on a 1799 unlidata plan, meaning I can use the Internet on the phone as much as I want (Skype, Viber, FB) etc. However, God-willing my flight will be Feb at which time I would still have 1 more year to go on the lockdown. If I pull out before the two year ends I will have to pay a penalty fee. I would like to bring my iPhone with me to the States without penalty but the only way I can do that is for someone with a smartphone to continue my 1799 monthly plan. Is there anyone who needs such a plan? The great thing about this plan is that one can keep in touch with their families and loved ones aboard or locally anywhere and anytime through skype or viber calls because its an unlidata plan. Pls let me know if anyone is interested, thanks a lot!

Hi to all I'm done with my medical and praise God I passed I'd like to ask when's the best time to take the CFO, before or after I get the visa? Coz from what I've read, if u do the CFO before you have your visa, then u need to go there twice. But if u do the CFO once the visa is already in your hands, then you only need to go once and that's it. Thanks so much to everyone in advance
