This means your NVC procedure is completed. Most countries they let you know interview date within days or weeks but in your case this might be a long wait. I personally had to wait about 6 months! Repeated inquiry was unsuccessful. My case was one of the longest wait in VisaJourney members along with few fellow VJ members who happened to be at this Embassy.. NVC was keep telling me they were waiting for US Embassy in Phnom Penh to get available date and when I kept sending email to US Embassy, they kept telling me they were waiting for NVC to send the case with interview date. However the actual process is US Embassy let NVC know available date and how many people they can schedule and NVC makes interview appointment and let you know at that time. The day they schedule interview they also send your file to US Embassy by DHL. I am guessing your wait time would be 3 to 5 months. One of the few Embassies in the world that take this long after NVC procedure completes.

    hey - this sorta thing,
    is emailed out
    to both
    the petitioner
    and
    the beneficiary.
Touch base with your petitioner, inquire.
it's only an email - the petitioner has the same thing
and can easily forward it to you.
Or maybe your petitioner needs to hire a teenager for an hour?

Welcome to another monthly thread for NVC! (As well as a new year! ) In this first post, you'll find useful links as well as phone numbers/email addresses. In the second post I've compiled a FAQ and at the end summarized the NVC process. Please read through everything before posting questions as it's very likely that your question can be answered by reading through the links and/or FAQ.
Note: Please keep in mind, since NVC required everyone to use the online DS-261 and DS-260 forms starting September 1st, 2013, a lot of the following guides have become outdated. Please use caution.

I don't know. You have to call NVC and verify if they have that AOS package and if they will accept it.

Mine took 15 calendar days but it was the old DS3032 format. I'm not sure how fast they accept the DS261 now.
You can always check the CEAC site so you won't miss it. Be pro active this time, ok?

You can fill out and submit the DS261 now. You'll need your case number and invoice identification number: https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/
Once IV fee invoice is available, pay it, print cover sheet and attach it to your (beneficiary's) civil documents then mail it via courier to NVC.

It takes 1-5 months until your case will be completed. Then 1-2 months before you'll receive Interview Letter.

You can check here if the IV fee is already available: https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/
    Looks like precious time wasted.

Yes it will affect the process coz it will take longer since you don't comply with NVC requirements immediately.
