This is the only accurate post in here - I am sorry for your situation, and for the unbelievable judgment that has gone on in his post - It's amazing what people infer - Did he say he was visiting the US to see his now wife and got someone else pregnant? Ummm.... no - He clearly had a visitor or a work visa and met his wife on one of the trips - and probably dated others prior to that - For all anyone reading this knows - the baby could have been born before he even met his wife - Or it could be a lie by someone who was jilted and is trying to hurt him - The man was upfront with his wife about the situation - he came here asking for help - so if you can't provide it, why bother judging?
Follow the steps above - If you can't reschedule, and manage to patch things up with your wife, you will have to start over with immigration - Hope it works for you
You are very sensible.
Thanks for helping a brother.
Here are your options:
1. Call the USCIS office immediately and see if they will reschedule the biometrics, provided they did not abandon your AOS application.
2. If the latter happened, see if you can patch things up with your wife and refile AOS.
3. If you cannot do the latter, you are out of luck and must return home.
God bless you and I pray he finds a way out.

From USCIS: Starting in early 2015, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will begin implementation of a Haitian Family Reunification Parole (HFRP) Program to expedite family reunification for certain eligible Haitian family members of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents of the U.S. and to promote safe, legal and orderly migration from Haiti to the United States.
Under this program U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will offer certain eligible Haitian beneficiaries of already approved family-based immigrant visa petitions, who are currently in Haiti, an opportunity to come to the United States up to approximately two years before their immigrant visa priority dates become current.
The rebuilding and development of a safe and economically strong Haiti is a priority for the United States. The Haitian Family Reunification Parole program promotes a fundamental underlying goal of our immigration system family reunification. It also supports broader U.S. goals for Haitis reconstruction and development by providing the opportunity for certain eligible Haitians to safely and legally immigrate sooner to the United States, said Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.
The United States strongly discourages individuals in Haiti from undertaking life-threatening and illegal maritime journeys to the United States. Such individuals will not qualify for the HFRP program and if located at sea may be returned to Haiti.
Legal authority for the HFRP program is provided under the Immigration and Nationality Act which authorizes the Secretary of Homeland Security to parole into the United States certain individuals, on a case-by-case basis, for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit. This is the same legal authority used to establish the Cuban Family Reunification Parole program in 2007.
USCIS is not currently accepting HFRP program applications, and potential beneficiaries should not take any action at this time. USCIS will provide full program details before the end of this calendar year and stakeholder engagements will take place shortly thereafter.
In early 2015, the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC) will begin contacting certain U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents with approved petitions for Haitian family members, offer them the opportunity to apply to the program, and provide instructions on how to apply. Only individuals who receive a written notice of program eligibility from NVC will be eligible to apply.
Under the Haitian Family Reunification Parole program, Haitians authorized parole will be allowed to enter the United States and apply for work permits but will not receive permanent resident status any earlier. Visit www.uscis.gov/avoidscams for tips on filing forms, reporting scams, and finding accredited legal services. Remember, the Wrong Help Can Hurt! An informational brochure and flyer are also available on www.uscis.gov.
I pray this will be applicable to all in the category.

http://blog.mygcvisa.com/2014/05/visa-bulletin-2014-prediction-from.html?m=Visa Bulletin 2014 Prediction from Charles Oppenheim
On Monday April 21, 2014 Mr. Charlie Oppenheim (CO), Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division at the U.S. Department of State spoke to AILA members about latest visa demand and his predictions for the upcoming visa bulletin movement.
General: The National Visa Center (NVC) is now sending out requests for payments 8 to 12 months in advance of the priority date becoming current. The NVC had previously been contacting applicants 12 to 18 months in advance. Applicants processing abroad appear to be waiting until their priority date is current, or almost current, to pay the fees.
This could be to avoid the long delay where the visa fees are held without a visa being issued. Once payment is received, it helps the Visa Office confirm the actual demand overseas.
The Visa Office expects to be able to make predictions regarding F2A Rest of World (ROW), EB3 ROW and EB3 China in May (see below) which could be realized in the July Visa Bulletin, or perhaps sooner.
Seems PD will be current before payment is allowed.
I hope we hear from them before end of this year. 7 months gone...yet no single information on way forward.

He came very prepared with copy of his lease, copy of his employment contract etc... but much to his surprise, they did not ask any questions and there was no issues. They stamped 6 months in his passport
Wow! I will give it a trial then....I thot it is impossible but I will try out very soon.

im disappointed on seeing this, had great hopes from Oct VB
Same here. I so tired of this long wait.
The wait continues till November ....
-
October Vb just came out. just as speculated F2A didnt move that much. Now we look forward to November bulletin.
Thank God we are getting there gradually.
Lets keep our fingers crossed till November I hope for a huge jump by His grace.
Thanks for the update.

We got a B2 visa, my wife applied after our case was completed at NVC.
you must be one of the lucky few.
thx for sharing
-
I applied for a B2 visitor visa for my wife while we are waiting for F2A visa. I even went and got a California congressman to send a recommendation letter to my wife's country embassy. Still they denied her visitor visa stating that while F2A is in progress, they don't approve any non-immigrant visas. You can always try, but its a waste of time and money.
Thanks for the information.
I will have to wait patiently till my pd becomes current.
Thanks again.
-
It is possible. Go for it if that's how you feel. Be sure to be entirely truthful about everything including your F2A petition.
Alright. I will give it a trial and be very truthful.
Thanks
-
You can always apply. It's very unlikely you would get a visitor Visa since you are showing you want to come to US. But if you have the money and time go for it won't hurt anything.
Thax Dwheels.
