Carolyn- I have a question for you. My fiance medical expires on the first week of April. He has had no update since November, but NVC keeps telling me they should issue it. What would you suggest to do? NVC said they contacted the embassy and got the standard reply. Is there a government official or department to contact you think?

I know many people that feel the same way, which I can understand. As a human, you want to be physically active with your partner, or be able to see them. My suggestion is to go back and visit her, and spend time. If you still feel the same, let go. If you change, than it is just the seperation that is killing you. If you love her, I think you want to be with her.

Desperate- They are working on it, be a little patient! Atleast you are getting updates, they are actively working on your case! They might issue it soon inshallah since you got so many updates!

Recent interviews are getting updates and approved than last year interviews.

I apologise, I meant to say the same as Christeen. You need a valid ticket and sponsor letter. The visa is abourt 2,000 Rupees! You need the visa before entering.

According to the site below it says you do not need a visa, but check with the embassy in Pakistann

For a very little time, they just need to update the system and make sure everything is alright, final review checks, and then issue! You are almost there dont worry!

I honestly do not know how you stayed patient! My fiance already booked my next trip, it is so hard, and you made it look like cake. I am so happy for you, have you guys already booked tickets yet? As far as NVC is concerned, that is what threw me off. They said everything looks good and approved, they should issue the visa. I told them if they see it they should contact the embassy.

Green slip is a 221g AP slip. I am not sure whether it is guranteed or not because I know people who did get denied after AP. Solely depends on the case details and outcome.

In order to get any visa you will have to meet in person, and make sure you prove a strong relationship. Internet relations usually are a red flag and AP for Islamabad embassy. One user here is in AP for meeting online.

Inshallah I will keep you in my dua's and wish everyone here a end to their AP. I just wanted to let you know do not make the mistake I made. I feel so bad now, and wished I accepted the truth beforehand. May allah end everyone's AP, and issue their visa to keep them with their loved one.

I am kind of confused now. NVC called me asking me why my fiance didnt get his visa. Their supervisor and my congressmen both contacted the embassy the standard AP message. But my case status was not updated. They never update it from any inquiry. NVC said the visa was approved in DC in November and to keep contacting the embassy. I told them to contact the embassy because I did not want to be a pest. Has anyone ever gone through this before?

They are ready to issue your visa. In sha allah you will get the visa once they get the medical, if I am not wrong.
