My fiancé got his letter last week telling him to come to the Ghana Embassy to pick up his packet. He said when he got there it was about 20 other people there for the k1visa.he said he gave them the paper notice and he was told to come back at 230 to pick up his packet.when he got back at 230 his name was called and a woman gave him his packet with his medical info which is 400 USD, police report and forms that he needed to go online and fill out. Also it gave him a list of all the info that he needed to bring back to the interview like birth certificate and passport size photo. So he has till February 24th to get everything done.

I have noticed that more women are turned down or made to wait, and men are given the visa for their wife there is only a few who fall through the cracks ?

I was wondering the same thing it seems like every asian gets threw with no problem.. Were almost at the end but im nervous about tje interview cause i see so many women get turned down..not fair?

AFTER TWO WEEKS OF RFE WERE APPROVED YAYYY

GOT APPROVED TODAY GOT RFE IN JAN AND I JUST RECIEVE THE TXT FOR APPROVAL HANG IN THERE EVERYONE YOUR TIME IS COMING

Thanks for the sympathy. (I think). I don't care if it's 5 weeks, I want to be with my hubby. And at the end of the day if I want to vent let me vent or trip as you stated in peace! Thanks . I obviously know it's a long wait. That Doesn't minimize my desire to be with my hubby or to complain about the process

From the wealth of information I gathered, I believe the intending immigrant will get the documents back....but it wouldn't hurt for you to inquire directly from uscis.

I believe you will definitely get back both the license and the original certificate during your interview; uscis will send off those documents to NVC and then, NVC will send it to your embassy where your interview will take place. I am optimistic you will hear back from uscis shortly with your approval

i forgot to send my marriage license now im worried cause i sent the original and idk if i will get it back

Then you'll have to file some extra paperwork to get it back. I suggest getting a new one if possible because it takes a while to get your originals back from the USCIS (get a certified copy from issuer.)

Hopefully soon as they receive they will approve. I pray you just sent them a copy and not the original.

Can I ask if you didn't send proof of marriage what evidence did you send to show you are married and in a bonafide relationship?

I ask because this is the case file that will be going to the embassy and a CO will make a decision based on the evidence given to them.

I called uscis and spoke to a tier 2 they try to lie to me and say they were only on june when i know when i know that's not true cause two weeks before that a tier 2 told me they were reviewing my case at that moment. Im so tired emotional and mentally just ready for this to be over

When u call your going to have to speak to a tier 2 cause the tier 1 know nothing..when i called the tier 2 told me my case was being reviewed just wait for my approval

I called yesterday and they said my case was being reviewed so i hope soon we get our approval
