Hello VJ I haven't been here for a while but I'll give you a little update: My husband has been here for about a year and a half. He is still taking English classes and recently had his first "English" interview. My husband barely knew any English when he got to the US, so this was a HUGE step for him. I am extremly proud of all of his accomplishments and am excited to see what our future holds. I must admit, we have our good days and bad days but nobody said this was going...

Update: We're going on 2 years of my hubby being here! Unbelievable! We're doing well and overcoming all obstacles that have come our way. His daughter is still with us, she will be returning home next month or march with AP and returning in June to wait for her GC. She will then leave to DR to live with her mother for good and visit us in the summers.(After all of the hassle, that was the agreement) We're also going on 2 years of marriage in April. Time flies! Today makes one month since our interview and approval. My finance still has not received his passport and visa. I e-mailed the consulate again today to see whats going on. This has been hard on both of us, but we have been strong for one another. Thank you for asking for updates and keeping us on your minds as you dealing with your cases. i agree with Gaby Y Luis! ur k1 link for what to do after noa2 (the dominican way) has helped me understand the dominican process so much better. lets just say, i printed it out and is in my visa information folder at home which im always reviewing lol! so thank u for taking the time in making it! i know it has helped many with this stressful process!!

He married with the sole purpose of getting his Visa. Visa was denied and now he has another woman. Now I want a divorce but I don't have $400.00 dollars to pay for it. Is there a way I can marriage annulled? What are my options?

My case was received last week at the US Embassy/Consulate in Stgo... hopefully within the next week or two well have some news, can't wait!!!
