hey guys i would like to ask even if your case is expedite , do nvc still wait for the interview date before they send it off to the embassy or do they just send it off and then the embassy give you a date?

Time to review the wiki as you're mixing up the process Interview date is assigned first, and then after that, the case is sent to the consulate/embassy.

i called nvc and they said they will mail out my package today or tomorrow because of the expedite and the Guyana consulate will get my interview date?

guys i would like to ask i got my cc on the 24 of aug i was just wondering how long after the embassy get my document , would they give me my interview date my case was approve for excited to be send too my husbands embassy in guyana

I called and spoke to Olivia and got an official CC, also with a scan date of either August 29 or Sept 2 (have heard both) and also with a case complete on Saturday Oct 25. I do not think they work Saturdays, but I do think the system updates whenever it updates and that's the date that it's "complete."

So I still don't understand the scheduling interview part. Doesn't it depend on the embassy? So does NVC only call them to schedule at those times? I read the first page of the interview thread, I just think it's crazy. I guess I'm not surprised though, since this is the NVC.

Mine now shows N/A for AOS which they said means Case Complete! I'm about to call them right now.

Last scanned date was 8/29 which today marks the 48th day.

You're over 60 days now so call the NVC. Hopefully, they'll accept it as it is and allow you to just bring a new one to the interview.

Was that for a checklist or your actual documents. I am also a 29th Aug scan date for IV checklist for a police certificate. I haven't received any letter yet.

hey guys i have a question , my expedite was send to the Guyana embassy on the 9-3-14 and i haven hear back anything from nvc yet however the consular say that they take (1 to 3) days to reply back to nvc , how long after do nvc get back to you?

Did you put your case number in the subject line?

It took them 5 days to get back at me because I didn't have a case # when I sent the request. The day I've got the case# and got an Emile says it's under review. 2 days later I've received the approval and the next day they ship it to the embassy which was 8/21

i did put my case number i also send in everything already but i got a checklist for a stupid mistake my lawyer made
