How's everyone doing on this Wednesday? I've read some have got updates and approvals, good luck everybody! The next step isn't moving any faster for me so, hoping when I call these LOVELY PEOPLE (@@) at the NVC I will finally here some good news.
Lovely Wednesday indeed. Hopefully you get something before the end of the week. Just think of it this way you are one step closer to getting done with this stage. And don't worry it doesn't get any less nerver wrecking from here. Busy yourself with getting ready the documents and steps you will need to take once you get to the Embassy stage.

Still no news here.. New day new chances on some updates...
That's the spirit!!! Really hope they give you something really soon. good luck

Generally how many days need to complete a case in NVC?? Because I submit my DS-260 online on January 24. But I called to NVC and they are saying they received my documents on January 28, so I wonder how many days it is gonna take for my case?? Please help
Thanks
They told me it takes 30 days. I sent them the civil docs and it was delivered on Nov 29 2013 and they entered it into the system as received on Dec 02 2013 and I got case complete 12/26/13 and received the appointment letter via e-mail on Jan 9 2014 for interview Feb 11th 2013. Hope this helps.
well then again mines was fo an IR-5 so not sure if there is a difference in case.

Just had a look at Igor's List for the very first time, and was astounded at the sheer number of filers on there. I do wonder how many of those older unapproved petitions have been approved in the meantime but the members never bothered coming back and update their timelines...
hmmmm....

How are you guys doing on the NOA2s? I just took a peek at the December filers and they seem to be getting their NOA2. What is the hold up with my fellow November filers? Wishing that all those that are still waiting get their approvals soon.

Thanks!!!! Good luck to you too......I feel so nervous as the date gets closer. I'll be flying down to Colombia on the 22nd to meet up with her so I can attend and provide support to her durning the interview with her.
I am shaking all now! Lol. As we speak my mom and fiance are flying to Barbados where the American Embassy is to have their medicals done and I will be flying in this weekend to meet up with them for the interview next week. It's a week from today and I am so nervous. I feel really lucky and blessed to have them both go through the process at the same time. Really on edge just want this week to fly by so I can go meet them.

Hi guys. Newbie here. Filed early jan. Am beneficiary. I was wondering how you find your VJ estimated adjudicated date?
It's listed at the bottom of your timeline:
Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between March 5, 2014 and March 14, 2014*.

Flying out today to get to Barbados to have medical done in time for interview next week. I will be following later in the week. don't know why but am very nervous.

Hey hey!

But Nov filer TSC (NOA1 -nov 22nd) here as well.
We are still waiting though.. and waiting.. and some more waiting
Good luck all!
good luck to you too!!! Not sure what is up with TSC but they really letting their filers down.

I know it's completely out of my hands, but part of me feels a bit guilty because I do think it's unfair that we've been approved when there are others with NOA1 from before ours that are still waiting. I wish so much that you all get approved soon.
Sparkle I understand where you are coming from. It wouldn't be like that if USCIS would process cases in the order in which there were received because as it stands now it looks like they don't

New to this K-1 VISA thing.. I received this today by e-mail "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Texas Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number ...My question is, Is this the NOA1? if not what is the NOA1?
Yes that is the NOA1 it should have your receipt # starting with SRCXXXXXXXX

thank you! does police report is a must?
yes it is

base on my experience about calling NVC its crazy. i dont see any point calling them because is not helping. i dont know if anyone out here has different way of tehniques, they just reading what is the system, i called them every other week same answers. it said 10 to 20days. then why i have to wait a month. i feel like frustrating getting a case#. plus the representative kind mean.
well you could start off by telling them that you are aware of the standard wait time but you would just like to call and see if by any chance your case # has already been issued. That way you eliminate them having to give you that speech. that worked for me. Good luck

Hi, I filed for. my mom i130. I would like to double check about what are the documents needed by NVC ater it is approve. We have had the birth cert. of my mom, death cert. of dad ( he passed away couple years ago), 2x2 pictures of my mom, photocopy of her passport front page, Is that all we need to prepare for my mom's side? ThNks
Police report.
In order to submit those you would have to pay the $230 & $88 fees and then submit your civil documents.

I hoping they are extra nice to us because it's on Valentine's day. lol
yes that would be good, let's hope.

Our interview is on the 14th. I'm getting to Nicaragua on the 8th to make sure we don't need anything else. I can't wait to see him.
I think we have everything...the only thing I'm not sure about is if we have to pay for the affidavit of support.
Lol just noticed your post. I too will be traveling to Barbados on the 8th to meet up with them for the interviews on the 11th. And would you look at that your interview is on Valentine's day. Sweet. Good luck.
-
ok....thank you! I already paid the visa.
I filled out I864, I should fill out the --134 instead? I'm so nervous as well!
For the K-1 visa interview the requirement is the I-134 (unless otherwise directed by the consulate handling your case) and when you do the AOS you do the I-864.

K-1 don't pay a fee for the affidavit of support think that is included in the AOS portion you just have to complete the I-134 for the interview. Only thing you have to pay if you haven't already is the visa fee $240. Had to pay the affidavit fee for my mom's petiton but it was at the NVC stage.

Oh sorry like duh
!! My interviews are on Feb 11th (Mommy & fiance)

Anyone else undergoing an interview in Feb 2014. Trying to connect and looking for support so nervous and hoping that we don't leave out or forget anything required for the interview. I have made a checklist but keep thinking am forgetting something. Anyway I wish us all luck regardless of what stage of the process we are at now.

Hope other members are also getting approvals!!! Good luck everyone.
