I called NVC last Friday and a guy told me everything is good, you will hear something soon,

I called NVC on 25 March and a guy asked everything from me and he told me it's still under AP and i said nop it's says ready and again he said no mama it's under AP and no time frame

Again i called them and they said the embassy system down

It is hard to get an email response from them. 0112498544 is the direct number back there to the visa folks. If you keep calling they will eventually pick up.

Sorry you are going through this. We have been trying since 2012.

Today my husband asked whether i submitted my previous passport and i said NO... and he gone MAD.. so what shall i do now..Embassy never contacted me and up to now they didnt reply to my email. if they want my passport i can give and it's 5KM from house to Embassy.

I am worried.

Yap i called them on 0112498500 a guy answered and he will listen to the story and transfer the call and no one is picking the phone and connecting a recording.

So me and my husband both send email to embassy no reply.

i am really sad our good time is going for this mad visa process.

Why? It's only the 24th now, I don't think you need to worry yet. They'll be organising your packet to send out. THey can't change it til it's sent.

I still haven't heard anything but I think my posts are kinda invisible in this thread. No one wants to hear when things go wrong I guess.

My interview was on 10 March 2015 and they update my case on 18 March from AP to ready and still it shows ready.

Normally sri lankan embassy they issue visa after two days.

One of my friend attend to CR1 visa on Tuesday and she got a her visa after days.

If your intention to work in USA it's not easy to get the working visa.

If you really want to see your boy friend try to apply for visitors visa.

Been next door (Canada to USA) it's not hard to see each other, American boy can visit you anytime.

In my case married to one year and 6 months and the relationship almost 6 years and past 3 years every six months my hubby came to Sri Lanka by traveling over 30 to 40 hours each trip and spending $1300 to $1400.

And Our time gap is like im 12 hours ahead.

So my point you just looking for a job.
