This is getting ridiculous. Many many emails each day of people saying that they are stressed and that there is nothing we can do about this. 

Please stick to your words and DO NOTHING including not posting here your frustration. I totally agree with Y&i2015, please post here only when you have an update on your status. All questions have been answer by page 20 of this Topic and we are already at page 78. 

Admin, Is it possible for you to remove useless complaints and allow only status updates?

Thank you in advance. I wish next time I get blasted with 12 emails it's because of the joy of somebody else getting approved.

The I-751 row shows in green in my computer, it was yellow before the recent update.

I heard from a wise man that when in green it means that the speed in processing is high, 4/5 petitions a day.

Yellow means that they are processing slow, 1 or less petitions a day.

Red means that they are experiencing issues so no processing.

Pink means they are slowly considering forwarding those petitions to other CS.

Brown means there is a bag, a bag full of bss... I am just kidding, I believe it's just for separation and easy readability

Thanks for your opinion. I find it harder for hundreds of users to go and find a page, then find the name then verify the information about one specific user that said "I GOT APPROVED", rather than that user to post 2 more words "I GOT APPROVED AT CSC/VSC" with details about the approval. Again, just an opinion.

When did you apply? When was your NOA? CSC?

That is not true unfortunately. VSC is approving July 2016 filers, CSC date is somehow correct.

Absolutely you can. 

- either you send the G1145 with your application (https://www.uscis.gov/g-1145)

- or you sign up with the USCIS and create an account. There you can select email/sms notifications.

You might be searching the receipt of your NOA1. That won't work. Read the NOA again and use the number that came on the biometrics.

To all August 2017 filers. Be patient!

- It takes approximately a couple of weeks to get the biometric appointment

- It will take between 12 and 18 months for you to receive the decision on your ROC

- After the expiration of your extension letter (1 year) you DO NOT HAVE to get the stamp (I551) on your passport unless you need some proof of status, you need to travel outside the usa (in that case bring with you the original GC if you still have it, the original extension letter (NOA) and the stamp of your passport, plus a copy of all the above)

- If you want to get the passport stamp, schedule a infopass appointment (https://my.uscis.gov/appointment) no more than 1 month before the expiration of your extension letter. Some have got the stamp 80-90 days in advance but it's rare and USCIS prefers to give it to you closer to the expiration of your NOA, which is a year after the expiration of your 2 yrs GC. At the infopass, when they give you the stamp, they will most likely keep your expired GC since you won't need it anymore

Again, be patient and know that right now VCS is approving July 2016 filers, CSC is approving June 2016 filers.

It takes between 1 week and 2 months before you can get your bio appointment, once you do it, sit comfy and wait... the 10 yrs GC takes between 12-18 months to arrive. (I have been waiting 13 months now). Good luck.

I'm sorry about that, I am sure it's really stressing and frustrating. Please try to call the number 1 (800) 375-5283 and try to get some info/help from them first. Then try to use the website multiple times until you can get the infopass and then go and talk with a USCIS officer. 

There is no much less you can do unless you want to get a good immigration lawyer but that, of course, will cost some $$$$...

Divorce waivers unfortunately are processed differently than normal applications. Not sure that his/her experience means much for normal filers. I do hope so for sure tho...

That's all you need. Bring your passport too but keep it in the bag and do not show it  Your government issue state ID will do for all your domestic trips.

Do you have a state ID? If you had a driving license for example you'd not need anything. If you don't have any valid state document, you'll need the passport but I don't think you should travel with an expired GC (or extension letter).

best suggestion, get a state ID so that you are always good for domestic travel.

It also makes clear that the 12 month extension is from the card expiry date, not the receipt date of the I-797.

You are correct in both. The 12 months extension is from the expiration of the GC and the extension works exactly as your GC so you shall travel with no issue. Just make sure to bring the original and leave copies at home. POE might give you issues with copies.

My extension letter is now expired (I'm incredibly annoyed about the snail's pace CSC is going) and I was wondering if I needed to miss work, drive 250mi, pay for gas, food and lodging just to get a stupid stamp on my passport. The nearest field office isn't even in my state. Glad to know ICE won't come knocking at my door for having expired everything. I just don't have the time and resources to deal with this ish right now. 

Nor have the need to do so unless you need to show your proofs of status. So sit back and relax my fellow CSC July filer, we are on the same boat!
