omg thank you all so much.
i couldn't sleep last night just thinking of this...
-
NSO changes the security paper (SECPA) every now and then. I had both yellow and the yellow-green-ish one but all my info is the same.
If the prior NSO BC that he got (regardless of SECPA color) contains his first name, getting a new one now should also contain his first name. He must go to the Local Civil Registry (LCR) and obtain a certified true copy of his BC (that should reflect his first name as well). Bring that to NSO main to have it sorted out.
If his BC from the LCR does not contain his first name, that's a problem. He may have it corrected there if ever.
Well his greenBC has all his info on it... which is WEIRD that NSO is missing his first name...
So he has about 3 weeks to fix this because no way I am not going to reschedule the interview.
jeez... so i guess he'll have to go to iloilo then...
this is stupid. nso is stupid. couldn't they just correct that right then and there seeing that the greenBC has his correct info.. theres so much proof.. his passport, id's, etc to prove his identity..
omg i am stressed out about this...
and the thing thats pissing me off even more is the fact that he didn't take action a while back. ughhh....

Worst case, email the Embassy and reschedule the interview.
oh no... i can't do that.. i need to figure this out asap.
this is ridiculous.
-
What BC did he use when he applied for a passport?
well.. he's had a passport for several years now... and his bc is the green one and not the yellow one from nso...
-
My fiancé got a copy of his NSO BC but it didn't have his first name on it.
Now his interview is on May 30.
He was told that he needs to go to his province where he was born to fix the problem.
He is in Manila, his province is in Iloilo.
This is F-O-S.
Anyone experienced this??
We have about 3 weeks. this is ridiculous. OMG
I'm freaking out here.

Its nice that we're all able to learn from each other and help each other.. Otherwise we'd go completely insane LOL...

YOU REMIND ME OF MYSELF LOL... except I'm the petitioner.
So yes... I researched and read everything I could read, I asked everything I could ask, I printed, signed, dated, everything that i could and i probably did several packet samples before sending out the real thing.
my fiancé even had to send me his bio info twice because he made some mistakes in the first one so that made me even crazier because i kept thinking of the delay... i have this whole timeline/goal in my head that i must be married before the end of this year or else there would be no hope for me.. LOL..
so i officially sent the official i129F packet in the first week of december. i lost soooo much sleep from checking the status every now and then... then i went crazier when i saw that we have an RFE.. so i panicked for about two weeks before i received the RFE notice in the mail only to find out its because I missed a couple of questions.. LOL...
after that.. it's pretty much been smooth sailing up until the point where it was my fiancé's turn to do his part...
he's a 'take your time' type of guy... so our packet has been sitting at the embassy since the later parts of MARCH and he still hasn't gotten all his papers together and its frustrating me because his interview is on MAY 30 and i'm afraid of what might happen if his documents aren't all there.
buttt..... I'm trying not to get on his case because i still have my affidavit of support documents to get squared away before i leave. I'm going to be there with him at his interview.
but anyway... don't sweat it... really... you'll be fine... just as long as you do what needs to be done and he does too... the process will flow smoothly... just be patient, think positive, and continue to research, ask questions and be prepared for any bumps or confusion along the way..
this process isn't easy... it is financially, emotionally, and physically stressful... you guys will argue... a lot... but when you look at the big picture, it will be worth it.
thats what i keep telling myself...

Odd menu at that canteen ...

I have many but the biggest fear I nevr overcome is my fear of those worms. Any kind of worm will freak me out. I tried to touch them and try to like them but it really kills me at the end. I don't know why.
lol.. i have a fear of lizards, rats, and driving fast at night...
actually this post is about fears and anxiety related to the visa process, relationship, and all that good stuff...

Regarding the fiancé visa interview...
Where will the interview take place? New or Old building??
If the schedule is 7:30am, what time should we be there??
-

I have the calendars open.. theres available for next week but thats too soon for us, our documents wont be complete and very short notice for me if im going to file leave...
Why am i unable to select other dates for other months??
Huhuhu...
-
Ok... thank you. More patience.
-
I hope we can all get a slot soon. Im aiming for mid may.
-
Is it better to try and call to set up an appointment?
-
Its been about a week... Still nothing available.
-
The embassy does restrictions on how many times/long you can be on the website.
I don't think they have released June yet.
Just going to have to be patient, not sure if they require a one day wait before you can access the website again.
Thanks Hank.. I hope I can at least get a June slot.
Not only do I want to be present at the interview, but I am in need of a vacation. Right now, I have 3 weeks of leave, but if I want until August I'll have one month.
At least it gives me time to save. Its just that Im really looking forward to picking a slot so I can submit my leave form.
Oh well.. its just another round of patience for me...

There's probably still some appointments left for December and January '15.
December & January 2015?! really?
thats how far back it is?
oh my... this is really depressing...
-
Every time I log on to the site, I get this message...
At first the message says something there are no appointments available. You are approaching the maximum number of times you may view this page. Please complete your transaction at this time. How can I set up an appointment like this...I have read several posts that says people keep the site open and just click reload.Gosh I was hoping for a May appointment, but it doesn't even look like June is available... this is so depressing. -
Do they open the slots from month to month? or does this mean its totally backed up? I'm so sad.

this is very devastating news, but stay strong. there is hope... there are solutions. sending you prayers from the pacific.
