That's me. Got my IV docs approved yesterday with July 1 scan date!!!
Great congrats! I am July 3rd scan date and hoping it is today or tomorrow.
-
I haven't called yet. The AOS fees still show paid so I was just waiting for those to switch over to n/a before I call.
Got you. But N/A only shows up couple times a day I think. Once around 5ish PM and one overnight when their system updates..I could be completely wrong here though. So calling is the best way to check if you are anxious

I all three of us get good news.
My IV docs were scanned July 1 and are the last thing I need for CC.
Did you call today? I saw someone got IV docs approved yesterday with July 1 scan date.
-
I hope you get good news today or tomorrow! They are so slow...
Hope we both get good news!!
You have been waiting for very long as well. They have been processing checklists rather quicker as reported by others. So you may very well hear something very soon

July 3rd scan date for IV. Patiently (sort of
) waiting for CC.
-
Thank you! I didn't ask about sending the IV packet without paying the IV fee first only because I am a little hesitant to do that. I don't want to jeopardize anything else with our case if something is lost or "misplaced" at the NVC. They have not reviewed the AOS package either. It was scanned into their system on July 2 so they are still telling me to wait the 60 days for that as well. :/
Yes I felt the same way about IV packet and that is why I also waited for a month. In regards to your AOS, it will be processed by the end of this week for sure.

I just called to find out what's going on with our DS-261 and why it STILL has not been approved yet (and the IV fee not invoiced). This is the 2nd representative that has told me that they will notify their supervisor to have it taken care of. I then asked Penny if she will be telling her direct supervisor today and she proceeded to tell me that "no, it will be put on a spreadsheet and whichever supervisor gets to it first will take care of it." Soooo tired of this sh!t dragging on and on with so many promises but so few results....
Can't believe they have not invoiced you yet. That is just ridiculous. Did you call and ask if you could send IV packet without IV fee? I personally didn't do that as I was afraid that they would lose my packet. But I know some people have had a luck with it. Did they atleast review your AOS? Hang in there my friend and good luck!

We got a checklist for marriage certificate !!!! It's a certified one from the court what else do they want ?
this is a nightmare
I am sorry to hear that you got a checklist. Most of the people get confused about what "certified" means. It is original/certified copy you get from registrar. You didn't send a photocopy/true copy of marriage certificate, did you?
Also - what was your scan date?
-
Still haven't gotten an interview date for India. Waiting almost 20 days now. Not sure if anyone else has had any luck?
Did you call to find out? Which embassy are you?
-
I just got a standard 60 day email as well just like everyone else. M pretty sure this is CYA at their end & to reduce number of phone calls they are receiving everyday.
-
Thanks! About time! Right?!
Cheers!!
Thanks! No problem. Will be sticking around for a bit!
I will probably go missing once we are back in the states. I have time to make up at the sea and disney!
Cheers!
Thank you!
That's brilliant! Congratulations mate! So glad you finally received case complete!
Congratulations!!! You have waited for very long..You can now have peaceful nights!!

Just called nvc case complete
Lady i spoke to was actually funny ...she said now you could have a nice day that you dont have to deal with this no more
Congrats!!! What is your scan date?
-
Is everything okay?
Are you still waiting for a call from a supervisor?
I talked to an NVC agent recently and asked to talk to a supervisor. No supervisor was available (according to him) so he took my phone number and told me that a supervisor was going to call me up the next day. Needless to say, nobody called me up so I had to call them up.
I'm getting tired of calling them up to "babysit" them all the time. Fortunately, I've just sent my IV package and filled out the DS-260 form so I can relax a little bit. All I have to do now is wait (again)!
Someone will call you for sure..just don't expect a call back in couple of days. I had requested a call back from supervisor and someone ended up calling me after 2 weeks
. She was super nice lady but that doesn't do any good for me
-
Jeez... 37 business days since NVC received my DS-261 and still no invoice. No email either. And no one at NVC will help us! Not even a supervisor! So I guess next step is ask politicians to help and if they won't, then we stay at NVC forever
Unfortunately you have to keep trying, it is hit or miss with them. Sometimes you get a good supervisor and he/she will unlock it for you and sometimes you get a rude one who doesn't care at all. I called few times they ended up unlocking it for me after few attempts. Keep trying and good luck!

CASE COMPLETE!
Congrats!!!
-
Thanks for the reply!
If it IS CC, this sheds some light on EP being different than snail mail in terms of processing time. I wonder if June 6th was used as the "scanned" date despite the NVC telling me that the mail was "received" (and pending was the word she used) on the 23rd, so I figured my "scanned" date would be the 23rd.
If this is CC, it appears that either the 6th was the scanned date OR EP has different review methods.
I believe EP used to be slower but now it has picked up some pace. Either way hope it is CC for you!! Holding my congrats until you confirm
-
Hi folks,
I did EP (Canada) and I submitted my AOS / IV electronically on June 6. I called about a week ago and the mail was received on June 23rd.
For what it's worth, I just checked my CEAC and the "AOS Fee" portion is a gray "N/A" BUT the IV is still "PAID"
I used a lawyer, so both were submitted simultaneously.
Does this mean that the AOS is accepted but the IV might be a checklist?
On hold now, hoping someone can shed some light before they finally pick up.
Thanks.

It is most like a case complete! Keep us posted

Hi Guys,
when you receive your Police Clearance Certificate do you sign where it says applicant signature before sending it to NVC?
Thanks much!!
Never heard this before. May be it is country specific? Where do you see applicant signature?

Thank you!! I've been a total nightmare to be around since we got our original stupid date! I'm over the moon now!!! And it's finally sinking in that he's coming home!
I stated NVC's scheduling system is stupid and unfair and we deserve an earlier date - not in those exact snarky words, but I was pretty curt in my e-mail LOL I think it also helped me mentioning his medical was complete and we were good to go.
Haha nice! Great outcome indeed! Now you are less than 3 weeks away, that is fantastic!
-
Ok and what about primary occupation? If I put medical/health they are asking for employer's name. But I m not employed right now. So should I just out non employed and then medical under 'intended to work in states' or should I put education or something like that? Because I m a doctor already so I m not studying right now but not practicing in Pakistan either.
Correct, you can put homemaker as current occupation or else they will need your employer's info.

London Embassy re-scheduled our interview for August 6th!!!!!
:joy:
That is fantastic news, congrats!!! More and more people are able to reschedule interviews to earlier date. Did you give specific reason for the reschedule or simply asked you need earlier interview date if possible?
A couple qs from ds260. A quick response if possible please.
1) spouse's address. They say 'same as present address' or 'same as intended in US'. Are they talking about my present address in Pakistan or the address I put already in my permanent address of United States
2)is ur spouse immigrating with u or joining u at a later date. I put 'no' in both right?
1) I put in Same as intended address in US
2) No is correct
