  1. HI my friends.

I want contect with the us embassy in sanaa.

I want to ask .when the cases that completed on 1 Octoper2013 will forwad to embassy.

WHAT i should write on the massage.

    OR

i want ask. WHEN my case will forwad to embassy.

    THANK you again.

Don't waste your time. All they're gonna tell you is that your case is still NVC, and you should contact NVC instead of contacting them.

Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that after my husband and I got back from the embassy on the 12th of january empty handed and disappointed I sat and sent the embassy about 120 emails for them to get going on our visa process and get back to us soon. Then we got a call on the 20th of january for my husband to pick up his visa on the 22nd. we went together and we waited for our turn and the guy then handed us his visa. we were so happy. we have already left for america and now we're here. I am going to miss yemen so much because I know that we probably won't be back for a long time. I wish everyone the best of luck and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. inshaallah everyone gets what theyre looking for.

Thanks for everyones help, guidance and faith. As for now we're trying to get settled and to be honest I will try my best to keep looking at this site and answer questions for people but I won't be available as often as I would like. But if there is anything anyone wants to know send me a personal message so I can answer quickly.

    Thanks

Congratulations glad it all worked out for you and your husband.
  2. When did you get a case complete email? Im just trying to figure out what there waiting periods are?

I got a case complete on the end of November. But I'm thinking maybe the waiting time from case complete to interview is 6 months. Because people on this thread who got case completes on June 2013 had their interviews on December 2013. So it can be more or less its a bit unpredictable dealing with the embassy of Sanaa.

  3. Sami99, hk93, and myvisajourney congratulations on finally receiving your visas. Alhamduillah u guys are done. And to all who have their visas now again congrats and good luck on your new lives with your spouses. But when you guys can and do have time please submit a review for the US embassy of Sanaa on this site. Because I remember when I was new at this site I wanted to read the reviews for Sanaa embassy but didnt see any but there was plenty for the other countries.

Antiseir inshallah they will call you soon for a drop off.

And for the rest of us who are still awaiting our first appointments inshallah khair. I haven't heard of anyone getting an appointment so who knows if they are scheduling.

  4. my husband went today and there were so many ppl he said that he came out at 2:00 nd they said to come back tomorrow morning . he added that there were three who dripped there passport and recoeved visa on the same day

Oh ok that's great. Inshallah he gets it tomorrow. And that's so weird that they give people visas on the same day. First time I heard of this.

    Thanks for the thoughtfulness!

My visa pickup is next week inshallah khair

Inshallah you and everyone else gets a call really soon they are moving really fast!

Let's all keep our heads up

    Remember Patience :)

Inshallah this time they finally give your visa.

  5. OMG. ok first of all thank you so much to everyone who has kept me in there prayers.Second of all i just wanna tell you guys my husband finally got a csll to come on the28th. the guy called him at4:30 in the afternoon and said come with ur passport, teo photos, medical exam. but now my questions are does he have to get a new medical exam or does he have to bring the first one cuz i read it and it says it expires after a year and it hasnt been a year. and are the photos they need 5/5. and they said first bring the police paper but then said never mind and its been more then 6 months.

Yay!!! Congrats... And it's about time, you guys were in ap for so long. I'm so happy you guys got the call. Inshallah your husband gets the visa soon. So happy for you.

  6. 453 USD from Sanaa to New York

KSA airline, I dont like this airline but I just found it cheaper that's it

Sami99 congratulations on your approval. But I don't think you should have rushed to buy an airline ticket before receiving the visa. I have seen on this site where they always advise people to never buy the airline ticket unless your visa is in your hand. Inshallah you get it on the appointment they gave you but there's no guarantees that it's for sure.
  7. Ok here's how things went.

We went to my husbands appointment on dec. 18. It couldn't have gone any smoother or easier. Everything went really well but they said we need the new I-864 form when he comes to pick up his visa. They gave him the white slip visa pick up slip and he goes to pick it up on January 26. Then he gets a call from them to his cell last Thursday to come in on Sunday.

We went today and his name wasn't on the list but they let us in anyway. We waited hours until they let us into the building. There wad so many ppl it was crowded so there was a man there to let ppl in one by one. Well the jerk had us be. One of the last ones in.

There was a lady there to also go pick up her visa that we knew from our village. She went in before us and came out and we were still waiting. When she left she told us that they kept calling my husbands name inside. But what could we do the guy wouldn't let us in.

So then they finally called us in. We went thru security and when we got into the consular section it was crazy packed. U could definitely tell they were way overbooked and unorganized. All the workers were in such bad moods.

We went to one of the workers (yemeni). We showed him the white slip and gave him the forms. Then he told us to leave and they will call us.

I think they would've given the visa to us that time but the guy was too lazy and overwhelmed that he just then decided not to.

How ridiculous. I was so mad. Inshaallah they will call us soon tho. Inshaallah things will look brighter for all of us.

Congrats on the approved interview and inshallah your husband gets his visa soon.

  8. Yeah I think they take up a lot of room too!! I just can't imagine waiting anymore. I have no idea when we will get the interview date. We had case complete on September 30th and have been waiting almost 4 months now with no letter :( All I want is the letter and I will be happy!!! lol :) But of course I will be patient.headbonk.gif

Oh I didn't know it takes a long time to get an interview from Egypt too. I've been only waiting for almost 2 month but it still looks like I'm still gonna be waiting for awhile. I think we have no choice but to be patient ?. I hope we get good news soon!!!
  9. so today they replied to the congresswomen nd said that they checked my husbands case but it still needs necessary administrative procedures. and that when its over they will contact him nd theres no time frame for how long it should last. this sucks i was sure that they would say that. nd the nvc replied on behalf on sanaa embassy why do u think that is.

I am so sorry myvisajourney that must be really frustrating. I am just so mad for u. They can't keep doing things like that. Like didnt u explain to them that it has been over 7 months. Again I am so sorry inshallah they'll call ur husband soon.

  10. they sent this on 12.06.2013

    Dear Sir or Madam:

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing

of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner

and attorney (if applicable) will be notified

and the interview was on 23.12.2013

Oh ok so it seems like it takes 6 months from case complete till interview. Inshallah it stays like that or gets even better. Congrats again.

The u.s embassy finally wrote back to my by email this is what they wrote

Thank you for your e-mail. This case is still located at the National Visa Center (NVC). Although the NVC has finished processing your petition, the case will remain with the NVC until there is an available appointment at the Embassy. Once an appointment is available, the case will be transferred to Sanaa and our office will contact the applicant to schedule an appointment. Until your case is transferred to Sanaa, please direct any inquiries to the NVC. You can reach them by e-mail at NVCInquiry@state.gov or by telephone at +1(603)-334-0700.

    Best,

    Sanaa IV Unit

It looks like your gonna get something from NVC in a couple months. Inshallah sooner.

  11. Hi, this is my first comment

"I don't know to to leave comment in the forum", any way i started read this website 2 months ago some comments made me worried and sad

I had to know some information before my interview and Alhamdulilah my interview went well

My wife applied for me 10 months ago and i had the interviw, I like the Staff and the US lady consul, they were so gentle and they didn't ask much questions as I prepared all the documents they requered

al hamdulilah I will pick up the visa on Feb

I would advice the other people to read and learn from each other

    good luck for everybody

    Congrats on your approval.

Would you mind telling us the date of your case complete and interview date.

  12. inshallah ya rab we get want we want soon. and yea sleepless ppl with lawyers that dnt know wats really going somtimes confuse case complete with regular waiting times. idk its true or not but if she does have an interview on feburary then u guys email nvc and tell them ppl after u guys are gettin apps before u nd its not fair. cuz thats weird unless she expedited it for some type of medical pro lem her husband is having who knows. but u guys dnt for get yemenn suckss they are soo unfair. but its nvc who made them the app from sanaa

Yea I have an idea of what the US embassy of Sanaa is like. when vj members from other countries get case complete, they get so excited, because they feel like they're almost done. As for us, unfortunately, we know that's where the real pain begins. Lol

  13. zanoubia- sep 2013

    amalabdulla- end of october2013

    sleepless36- end of november2013

u guys shoukd keep track of other ppl who r waiting for interviews just incase something is wrong you can contact them about it.

I think as if right now we're the only ones awaiting our first appointments. Inshallah we'll try to keep in track. Thanks my visa Journey.

Thanks. I will do just that. And if anyone here happens to hear someone has a case complete or interview, please let us know.

InshaAllah we will all get appointments and receive our husbands visa soon. May Allah make it easy for us all.

    Yea inshallah soon. And Ameen.

no lawyers dont help much its the same but they take longer to reply when u have a lawyer but when u do it urself its faster. thats my opinion i think lawyers are waste of money and lawyers take forever to send them stuff or even speak on ur behalf. also r u sure she had case complete in dec. maybe its been longer but she doesnt jnow..

Yea maybe you are right. Because sometimes when I talk to people they don't really know what a case complete is or when they got it. Especially the ones that have lawyers.
