Just thought I would share my first NVC experience. Waited on hold for 48 minutes, lady was extremely rude and barely wanted to talk to me (I called as soon as they opened) Was shipped to NVC on August 28th and she told me it takes 25 business days to arrive from USCIS and up to 30 business days of processing after it arrives. Where on earth are they shipping this too before it gets there? Around the world apparently.

Its not true. Didnt it take like 2 weeks max for shipping and 3 days for processing? I read that somewhere. But if its shipped to the NVC there no point in calling. They will ship it to the consulate and that case number wont do you anything except maybe help when you call.

I got my vog after 2 days. I have to request a lot in my line of work.

For the interview just to be sure. How do you pay for that? My package is at the NVC now and want to be prepared asap so there is little down time.

Received an email tonight. Its shipped to the nvc. Now its waiting time till shipped to the netherlands.

And no i wasnt calling the uscis. I was calling the NVC number. The line was busy all the time. Nothing to be confused about.

Tye nvc number barely works. I had to call like 10 times kept getting a busy tone. My fiancee tried 20 times now still a busy tone.

Oh till midnight. Thats a long time.

I tried calling. Person on the line didnt want to give me any info. She told me that my fiancee had to call. Dang it. She will probably be home late today. Damn it. I just want an email saying it has been shipped to the NVC. Lol that is all!

Can I call the NVC and see if it was shipped without getting a notification? Guess I need the SRC number right?

I got NOA2 on the 19th, and notification on the 25th that it was shipped on the 22nd. I don't know why yours hasn't been shipped yet WHY CAN'T THEY GET A MOVE ON??

Btw I found the answer to my question in the January thread. Looks like it has happened to other people and I just need to be patient. You'd think I'd be used to waiting by now!!

Our noa2 was 22nd. The email about that on the 25th. Physical it came the 27th or 28th.

Guess I could call when i come home.

I called NVC yesterday and they said they hadn't received my file (it was shipped on the 22nd). I called again this morning and she said they're working on it now and gave me my #LND number. I went to the CEAC website to check the status and it said 'your search did not return any data'.

Is this normal? Did I copy the number wrong? Do I have to wait for a while before I can track it on the CEAC website? Please help!

Did you get a notification of it being shipped to them? We havent received it yet...

Still no shipping notice. This is week 2 nearly. On friday.

Thats so weird. We are on the same day give or take and we havent received any update... Damn these inconsistancies.

Anyone got a NVC notification yet? Or that it has been shipped to them? Or will that happen tomorrow because of labor day?

All are waiting on their mail saying its been forwarded to the NVC. Let another waiting period begin! Btw. The checklist says i need 4 passport photos are thse USA sizes or just local sizes?

I assume they're not. NVC verified with me today that Monday is a Holiday for them.

Still no email about it being shipped. Dang it! Ship it to NVC already! Lol

Regarding the additional info that we will have to get (police report, affidavit if support and job letter)... Do you think we should wait on gathering the additional documents so that they are dated after which ever date the NVC will be using???

I have everything dated on like the 09-14 or something like that. That is well ahead of time. Nothing is printed yet but it shouldnt matter. We just got the noa2 per mail. My fiancee just it to me on Skype. So its only a short while now.

Anyone that got their email this week got a notificiation it was send to nvc? Wonder how long it will take.

Received my police report today as well. Requested that last week. So all I have left is some extra photos for the checklist and the medical stuff that will happen automatically when I call for an appointment the moment I can.

Hello guys I'm new in the forum but still a March filler. I just received and RFE yesterday. I was wonder if someone has similar RFE like me after almost 6 months since the petition was filled. It's a little unusual time for this I think. Do you think that there is something wrong with the application? I'm a little worry right now. I'm still waiting on the mail to see what the RFE is all about. If someone can help with some info will be very much appreciated. Thanks...

RFE usually means something is missing. Its case depended.

Still no email about it being shipped to NVC. Tomorrow should be 7 days. Or is it 7 after physical receiving of NOA2?
