They are different at every embassy. When my husband went to the interview they asked him 3-5 questions. Nothing much. They asked him if he loves me? When is the last time he saw me? Do I live with him? What does he plan to do after the interview? And what job does he want in the us?

Just send everything! The more proof the better!!

Got approved today on my interview appointment! So excited, thanks to saylin, dwheels and all people helped me from first day i sent papers in USCIS! Wish you best luck all who waits for theirs visa to get over!

You have to go in the Immigrant line not the USC line. And times vary. Depends how many people are there how many flights have landed. Coming through Chicago who knows. It can go from 100 people to thousands in a minutes time. From 1 hr wait to hours.. They always say leave yourself a 2 to 4 hour buffer.

I thought it is only two line one for USC/permanent residents and for non immigrants like tourists and so. Is there usc separately and immigrants separately plus tourist separately? My wife is USC it will be really mean if they will separate us for checking in.

I have my interview appointment scheduled for 21 January 2015.

I just started reading some experienced of Port of Entry and I got little bit confused. And i have several questions about it and any respond will be greatly appreciated.

1. I am going to have POE with my Petitioner/Wife in Chicago, IL (connection flight finally i will be landed in Dallas, TX), some certain people say i have to take tourist line and some say i need line for USC or Permanent residents. I will be with my wife and does it means we have to go from different lines or it will be exceptional and they will allow us use USC/Permanent resident line.

2. How long does it take after showing them your CR1 visa envelope to stamp in passport? I meant including interview and all whatever it will be necessary to deal with immigration.

Hi guys, my case status changed as READY and down is Case number, with red letters + just they added 01 TBL. TBL - Tbilisi but why they did it at all, does it means something ?

Status changed from at nvc to in transit. After how much days will it arrive at embassy? Average time.

I have little questions. My interview got scheduled at December 3 and interview date will be January 21. So this Monday I have received P4 letter. Case shows at NVC still. Guys how long will it take to be there you think?

About interview instruction and papers preparation i have several questions.

I am going to have on interview following papers, please correct if i have missing or extra papers:

1. IMMIGRANT VISA ELECTRONIC APPLICATION (DS-260 AND DS-261) both applications

2. My Valid passport

3. Birth, marriage, Police Certificates originals translated and public notary on translation. (Actually i sent Birth, Marriage, Police and military originals and translations + Public notary, just i prefer to be on safe side and i did birth, marriage and police done over again, just i dont have military bc it is hard to recover. So actually they have to return me back originals and even i dont have to show them new, just in case if they dont have i will have backup, except military)

4. I have 3 color size 5X5 photo printed out by Kodak. I have also 3 color size 3x4 for medical examinations (back of photos are blank, i dont have to write anything yea? )

5. Proof on ongoing relationship (chat, photoes and so on, bank account statements)

6. PASSPORT DELIVERY REGISTRATION confirmation

7. Form I-864 by petitioner sponsor and joint sponsor and tax papers for joint sponsor. (My wife hasn't worked so we dont have tax papers for her)

Is there anything i am missing? you think all look great or there is something necessary?

CC November 13 and just my wife and i called and NVC representative confirmed us interview date January 21! So excited, i was waiting for it very long time. Thanks dwheels, Saylin, Magda_pearl, Austin and another people who helped me organizing papers, giving recommendations and supporting me among all this painful processing.

People who hasn't received interview dates, wish you guys it to happen with you very soon.

Come on Georgia, We got little amount of immigrant visa cases, make it done! I am going to call them after 6 hours and maybe there will be something positive. Lets see, honestly i am expecting to get in scheduled before Friday.

NVC knows how to torture people slowly. I need my damn interview date scheduked! How much more waiting, previous time they started scheduling 2 days before end of the month and now it is almost end of first week of new month and no news! NVC people wait you and expect something fast don't sleep!!!!

So interesting, NVC is tricking me i guessed. As i clarified in US embassy in Tbilisi they are making immigrant visa interview appointments scheduled only in Wednesdays. And when i saw interview dates of people from my country i noticed that it happens always on Wednesday. Yesterday my wife and i called in NVC and representative told us embassy is super loaded and they are waiting when they will get free slots. If you are doing fiance immigrant visa you have option to make interview scheduled yourself in Tbilisi embassy after some certain stage of course. When you are going to pick date electronically it showed me that next Wednesday is available for scheduling interview.

So it means if Wednesday is for immigrant visa people interviews and embassy has available next week Wednesday for making interview scheduled right today. It means embassy has good enough slots and just NVC is tricking us. How can you explain it? It is fiance or spouse both visa types are immigrants. I am very disappointed. Also i want to say that Georgia is all 4 Million people and max 150 person goes in USA though immigrant visa annually and embassy is 4 store and huge in region i am in. So it is hard to believe that embassy has busy schedule.

Just NVC needs to make it done and they are making all delayed. I hope among next few days we will have news, Wish good luck for all of us who waits.

As i know and based on experience people shared whoever got interview scheduled, they all say you get 2-3 days late emails about interview date. Most fast way is to call and clarify, maybe today they say they dont have idea when they will make your interview scheduled and they cant predict it but actually second day interview is getting scheduled. So dont charge negative and lets call all day, we all know they are starting interviews scheduled on beginning of the month. So they have no where to run and they will have to make it done this week or with little chance next!

I got approved in November 13 so i am expecting to get interview date one of the first because of when they just finished scheduling after several days i got CC.

We called, they said there is now news still and also they can't predict when interview will be scheduled. They said they are waiting when U.S. embassy in Tbilisi will open their slots which will happen soon probably but they prefer not to give promised to people and just they say we don't know. I think they will do interviews shxeudked aming next 3 days and little bit later for people got approved end of the month. So disappointing! NVC sucks so bad!

My wife is just on MVC line, let's see if they have any news for us. I wish at least they wll say something more positive that waiting before 5th.

Got CC in November 13, waiting interview to be scheduled today or among next couple days, I wish today for me and all of you guys who are near CC Dates.

NVC it is enough keeping my papers so long, just send damn papers to Embassy in Tbilisi!

I wish fast interview dates for all of you guys who are approved by NVC and waiting for your j review appointments. I hit approved in November 13 so I think and have hope that make I will have interview letter in inbox! Money has to be good, but honestly I am expecting to get letter among next week any days!
