  1. I think you misunderstood. My parents aren't sponsors. My grandmothers is a sponser. I sent my i-864 and hers with her tax information. The problem was that they lost my i-864 application but they have hers and everything is great on her side. I am 100% sure that i sent my papers with my letter. Its just very unfortunate that they lost it and we have to send my papers again :( I prefer to send them again and then wait 42 days and they say that they didnt find it. But its good yours was reviewed in 7 days.

    Viv

Need two sets of I-864 (petitioner & parents), your letter, parents tax returns and W2's ... Did you send all ? If not just resend it again... it won't take 42 days.. its just to keep you away... Sup review depends on their workload. mine was reviewed on the 12th day (7th business day)

  2. Hello everybody, NVC lost my papers or they couldn't find explanation paper which will make clear that checklist they gave me was wrong. I talked to NVC representative and they put my case under Supervisor reviewing and told me i had to call in 1 week for result. I called and now they told me 42 days, they drive me crazy. If somebody has experienced same i want to know how long is actual waiting time case to get reviewed by supervisor? (just i want to make myself calmed and give hope that 42 days is juct number when it will be done 100%. :( )

NVC gave us hell and headache.

    Thanks

  3. So last week around our 60 days of waiting for our case to be reviewed by the NVC, we called and asked what is going on with our case. After talking for sometime with a couple of representatives they told us that my I-864 financial information (petitioner) was not filled correctly and that my 2013 taxes was missing. We told them that our information was filled correct and that I didn't send my 2013 taxes because I HAVE NEVER WORKED A DAY IN MY LIFE (I got married in my first semester of college, I have always be a student supported by my parents.) They told that we should have sent a letter explaining why I have never worked and why I didn't send my taxes. BUT we did in fact send the letter!! We did everything perfectly! So I swore on my brothers, husband and myself that I sent it. They decided to help us and request to get our case reviewed by a supervisor. They told us last Wednesday to call back after one week for news about your case, so we called this last Tuesday and they said call on Friday (TODAY). I just called 30 mins ago and they told us that what the other representatives were telling you was incorrect and the time-frame for a supervisor to review your case is 42 days. We were in total shock, after waiting 60 days and then waiting 1 week to get news, this is what we hear. My husband asked the rep. what should we do? Should we send our letter again or wait for the supervisor. They told us to wait for the supervisor because if he finds our docs everything will go smoothly. We really don't know what to do, we are confused. anyways if we re-send our documents it will take 60 days anyways. Has anyone had the same problem? If so, what can we do? What do ya'll recommend?

  4. Congratulations for previous CC! I had checklist about papers which didn't apply on me case. I talked with NVC representative and as i clarified supervisor is going to review case before weekend. I sent AOS package including letter explaining my wife/petitioner has never worked and therefore there is no 2013 taxes by petitioner and therefore in form I-864 there is 0.00 in places where financial information is demanded (we didint leave blank bc i didn't want them to think it was left empty, just forgot)

Just someone or lost my letter or wasn't good enough to read all papers.

I hope Supervisor will find letter and they will remove checklist :( Lets see! Just NVC made me tired already, when this horrible process will finish?!?!

  5. My case is reviewed, talked with nvc representative like 2 hours ago. They told me my IV package is fine just in AOS package they said I have missing 2013 tax and I-1864. We have joint sponsor and her stuffs are all fine just my wife\petitioners docs they messed up. I remember we put there filled form plus letter explaining that why my wifes tax papers aren't there, reason is simple she never applied, never worked. So what they demand I exained in letter why I disint put petitioner sponsors taxes and why petitioners form is filled not fully. Officer asked me I needed to exain it BG letter and I said package is including such letter and she said me I will put your case under supervisor and in one week call us. I sad ok. There is two way or they lost some certain papers or someone was damn who was reviewing case. Anyways i expect supervisor will see all of no I have to send filled I-1864 by petitioner and letter explaining why we don't send petitioners tax papers and why form is not filled fully. Isn't fully bc we don't have information from tax returns bc we don't have one. So I am kinda of ipset! I could have cd for now. Guys I have question of it will happen suck that they will want extra papers from me how bad will it make process delayed? Like when demanded papers will get in their building after how much time will they review it? Thanks all! Congratulating previous cc cases

  6. If someones scanned date is 1,2 or three and little bit more lets write here togather and share experience. Maybe someone from these date got approved?! As i know 2 guys are approved and it mean guys we are near from CC. My AOS and IV package delivered with one envelope to nvc, so both packages got scanned togather at September 3. Come on NVC make us happy and lets make it done, all of us we are so done about waiting forever.

  7. As of today our case got the expedite process approved :D:D:D:D I still can't really believe it. And I just send out both packages together

I just wanted to thank you everybody here this is a great forum, thank god! I don't know what I would do without visajourney. A big thanks on saylin's wiki helped me a lot so far ;) and congrats on everybody who got a cc lately and the ones are still waiting I m thinking and praying for a quick journey for you [/quote

Congratulations you should be so happy Bcuz this process is not easy.

    When was your AOS scanned

Congratulations, i am sure so happy you are when all this hell is over. As i read your nvc scanned your papers at September 3. I am same waiting and counting days from September three. I must be somewhere near also i think :) I wish best for me and all of rest of you guys!

  8. It's even possible Tomm :) someone got a cc today with sept 3rd date. Best of luck :)

Keep a check on ceac website today for the magic N/A

Thanks man for positive information, just most important is after reviewing CC, i am scared of checklist. I know with high percentage everything must be correct but despite of it all little mistakes count! i hope we all get though easy way with no complicated processing. I am going to check all day several times :)

  9. Hello guys, wish best processing for all of VJ participants. My scan date is September 3, it is 56th waiting day since i received letter from nvc.So what do you think guys for what time do i have to expect to get CC? Tired of VISA PROCESSING (First papers i send October 21 2013 sucks man! :) )

I sent AOS and IV packages through one envelope inside separate envelopes. So both packages they received same time!

I was reading previous pages among little time i had free from work and i noticed people saying it is super close and want to know if it seems real?

    Thanks

  10. i think notary public must be enough and Apostle isn't demanded. When translator translates papers notary will make act where will be mentioned that translator is certified and everything is translated appropriate way.

in IV package instruction it is mentioned that all certificates must be no older than 12 month. So probably they meant for police and court and for such up datable certificates. (it is obvious if i married 2 years ago i cant get another and if i will get it will be same dates everywhere and same for birth and military)

What do you think about it guys?

  11. Hello Guys!

    I have one quick question:

Bc of my country official language is different that English translations are demanded. I am wondering if Marriage, Police, Military certificates must be translated by certified translator + public notary done or i need apostle for all and notary isn't enough? Or maybe maybe just translation with statement at the end is enough and apostle and notary is extra?

Below is requirements by my country for IV visa and translation is mentioned also. Just much people tell me i need apostle and i got confused.

    8. TRANSLATIONS: Certified English translations must accompany all documents that are
not in English. Translations must be certified by a competent translator and sworn before a
Notary Public. All certificates must be less than 12 months old when presented on the
    interview date.

    Thanks you very much!

  12. I am beneficiary, because of our visa processing is very near to be completed i sold car, closed credit car and overdraft and cancelled some certain check accounts. I am wondering if my wife can use these stuffs as proof of domicile. Like we started getting ready to move. ? (I think i mentioned above are not much appropriate what is demanded for domicile just i wanted someone to confirm) Thanks

  13. Aos Package- Your wife hasn't worked in Georgia has she? Because if she has, she is still required to file a US tax return with the IRS. If not, then that's fine. Are any of her family members still claiming her on their tax returns though?

What type of proof do you have for domicile? - Hopefully it's enough to suffice with the CO at the time of interview. If you used Saylin's example of ways to show proof, or re-establishment that's a good step.

    For IV -

Sounds good, have you double checked the website for your country to make sure that's all the documents they require?

If not, double check to be safe :)http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country/GG.html#docs

For IV: Yes i double checked it and i have all of them. I checked IV package list by Country specifications.

AOS Pakcage: Yes her mother claims her on tax return --- So do we need to do anything about it ?

Domicile: This is what about we are stressed, I think all we have in AOS and IV packages are perfect except Domicile. We dont have much domicile honestly and i am trying to figure it out and i need your help guys how to improve it.

First of all we tried to explain our condition in letter, like she is just 19 and that after finishing high school she left USA and lives in Georgia. We tried to write how we are going to establish domicile, like she will start university and i, beneficiary will start working there. Now i have good work, i am in Oil sector of Georgia and i have high chance to get office work through my in laws help. My wife went in USA 2 months ago to make everything ready for us when we will go in USA, like she ordered furniture for our room and clarified how we will get car, and tried to make living place ready for our arrival in US. It was all we did, about proof what we have is only:

    • Maintained my XXXX voter registration

    • Maintained my bank account at XXXX Bank

    • Maintained my US PO box

    • Voter registration card showing permanent US address

Even i am not sure how my wife will get all those from another continent.

    I want to mention:

My wife doesn't have assets in USA, no personal bank account (her account is expired and also is under her fathers account), expired gym membership, no car, she finished school and after came in Georgia so we dont have University paused or something like it. She voted first time when Obama won, but i dont know how we will get registration certificate, her PO box is registered under her uncles house.

I know everything is very complicated therefore i am freaking, i think we have chance to gather proof how we will establish domicile.

I have car and selling bc soon we will have visa i hope, i have work which i need to cancel, i have bank accounts i am going to close most of them (credit cards and debit where i get salary). But here is another problem i am planing to do all 1 month before interview not right now when i need to send AOS package which contains domicile docs.

Just i hope, NVC will take into consideration my wife's age and it will be explanation why she doesn't have much proof.

I am sorry guys for such much text i am sure it bothers to much people but i couldn't write it shorter. Any advice will be extremely appreciated.

Thank you guys for spending your time for helping us!

Well, it's all in NVC's hands (or their email inboxes) now!

Filled in the DS260 tonight (thank goodness for the exemplar on the website - I made up a Word document that I could just copy from one to the other... which was a good thing, because it didn't show up as available to fill out until after 9pm tonight (and we were packing to move, so I didn't actually see it until almost midnight). Anyway, I didn't have to think too much about it, just type while looking at my "cheat sheet"!

They have everything - I suppose it's possible that there'll be something they don't like or that for whatever reason, I'll get a checklist, but I've been as diligent as I know how to be, and with any luck, we'll be looking at a case complete near the end of July or the beginning of August - wouldn't that be awesome?

I'm bummed that the ds261 fiasco killed our chances of an August interview - we're going to be in eastern Canada then anyway, and it would have saved us probably $1200+ in airfare and hotels... but there's nothing we can do about that now, so we'll just have to work on making some friends in Montreal we can stay with when we come back in a couple months(!)

Best of luck to everyone, and please wish us luck too!

Wish you best and soon in USA

  15. Hello guys, congratulations for all whose case got completed or interview got scheduled!

Yesterday i filled and submitted electronic form DS-261, i received AOS fee payment invoice on email today but when i am trying to do payment system doesn't allow me to get it. (it is usual stuffs, takes time maybe 1 day maybe 2). I did package IV and AOS already, except IRS for what i am waiting still, i will have it for July 6.

    My questions are:

    1) As i read and know, depending how fast you will submit DS-261 as fast you will get IV Package (invoice for payment). Is it right, if yes how much does it take around after DS-261 is done?

    2) Because i need to wait for IRS and therefore cant send AOS Package will it cause delay? I thought, I would get and send IV package around same time (after 10 days) when i will get IRS and be able to send AOS. Maybe no matter how fast you sent AOS, they dont start reviewing case before they dont have IV package received? (I hope so :) )

    Appreciating any respond!

  16. Thanks you very much guys.

For AOS package i am collecting papers already and i am wondering about two things.

    1. Because of my wife doesn't work i got my father in law as joint sponsor. So my wife hasn't worked and doesn't have any tax information. At time of filling I-864 by my wife (first sponsor) do we need to write in financial info none everywhere and + make letter with explanation why we put none?

    2. How much time does it take to get IRS after calling them?

    3. My wife and i dont have much domicile established in US, like we dont have property we dont rent, nothing important belongs to us. Just what happened positive for it is that my wife went in USA for establishing Domicile like making our living condition ready, organizing home and so on. So do i need to mention it in there?

This is amazing group here, so fast responds are very rare to another similar groups. Thanks

  17. Hello Guys, I am beneficiary from Europe, Georgia, Tbilisi. Yesterday i got my case number and IV number and also provided emails to NVC. I try to enter in system for filling DS-261 and making AOS payment but, it doesn't allow me to do all even i cant get in system. (i read FAQ and it is usual stuff it takes around one week and i am waiting for that time be passed) My question is different, as i saw screenshots of DS-261 form provided by Saylin it demands Beneficiary ID to put in form at time of filling. I dont have one and i need to clarify how to get it or if it is optional at time of filling it. Thanks
