A relationship is like taking a roller coaster ride. When it brings you up, you often just look straight not as scary as when the ride brings you down. When it brings you down, you have to hold on real tight to overcome fear. That is exactly how we can describe a relationship with our fiance/e or husbands/wife. Did you call NVC to ask if they have your files already? If not try to call them, 603-334-0700. If you hear a busy tone, just keep trying. Just be patient. We are approved Sept 03 and I am regularly calling them after 3 weeks after our approval notice.
I have heard several K1 petitioners/beneficiaries who try calling US Embassy in Manila as well though we haven't tried this yet.

From what you had said it seemed like your mother had some other petition for her outstanding, and that was the cause of the denial.
If you want your mother to come over it sounds like you will have to sponsor her for an immigrant visa once you become a US citizen. It's notoriously hard to obtain a tourist visa from third world countries such as the Philippines.

It took a month and a week for us to get NVC case number.
NOA2 was AUG 7 from CSC, got case number today.

like a week ago USCIS said on their web site that the beneficiary has to take 3 different forms at his/her interview:

DS 156

DS 156K

DS 230

i just checked their site again and they have cancelled DS 230, its not there any more.

so we need to fill out just DS 156 and DS 156K?
