Maybe the officer can tell you what's going on. I have a friend from Tennessee who drove 6 hours to get his 551 stamp and ended up getting an interview date. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to find a human being at your USCIS field office...Good luck.
Driving 6 hours for an extension stamp!? But they got an interview date so may be it was worth it!

For those of you folks who are still waiting can just pray if Muller's got something damaging or pray dems to grow a spine and win in 2020(seems like an uphill battle) Politics do matter when it comes to immigration. The processing time for 751 at field office is from 2 to close to 4 years, go figure, what a nightmare.
I'm happy that your process is over! Wake me up from this nightmare!

Something tells me that it's probably me, not the city I live in! I've been so unlucky when it comes to the US immigration!
If I had moved to Portland, the processing timeline in Portland would have jumped from 6 months to 20 months since bad luck seems to follow me! You should be thankful that I don't live in Portland!

It is Trump's obvious attempt to slow down the immigration. He is executing aggressively. The endless pending confirms that unfortunately.

I have an InfoPass appointment in two weeks to get yet another extension stamp for my I-751 application!

It seems that way unfortunately. I have warned people here about the new "751 at field offices" processing time. It now says if your 751 ends up at a field office(obviously being combined with 400), the normal processing time is 2 to close to 4 years. That is obviously to discourage people to apply for 400 whole 751 is pending, but if you just wait for 751 without applying for 400, it is taking forever too. It is a lose lose as a result of the Trump's anti immigration policies. It is a nightmare. I am sorry.
I hope I can vote in 2020 if I can't vote in 2017 (assuming that the application timeline doesn't keep getting longer)!

This latest report confirms the reason why it is taking forever for USCIS to process your application. It is political, and there is nothing much we you can do until Trump gets voted out or impeached which is going to be an uphill battle. Good luck to you guys. Politics do matter and elections do have consequences.
It's more likely I won't be able to vote in Nov since I'm still waiting for an interview!

Hi, all! I
I'm getting concerned about my husband's citizenship going through. We live in Seattle and are 'in line for an interview,' but I know if people who applied literally the day before us in Seattle and already have interviewed.
Our dates are below:
Date filed: 8/31/17
NOA.: 9/15/17Bio: 10/12/17Should I be worried? What can I do to find out if there is an issue?I've applied before you did (see my timeline) and am still waiting for my interview!
The Seattle office is one of the slowest and the current estimated time range is 13.5-14.5 months according to https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/.

Good idea, but if it goes over 2 years, you may think about court action due to unreasonable delays. Fingers crossed, what a drag and nightmare this is for you.
On 6/25/2018 at 12:20 PM, MHZ said:Your case is definitely outside of normal processing times for CSC. Did it transfer to a field office? If yes, what was the date? Count 6 months from that date and if it is past that, then you are out of the normal times.

November 07, 2016
I'm making an InfoPass appointment next week since I'll need to get another extension stamp in my passport.
I may get more information on my application status at my InfoPass appointment. I may also file for Service Request next week.

Wow, it is almost 2 years for you since you filed your 751 in late August 2016. Maybe you should think about filing a mandamus action where you get a federal court's approval to force USCIS to adjudicate your cases due to unreasonable delays. It will be an expensive endeavor though, and you obviously need to hire a lawyer for that.
I've contacted my congressperson. I may contact her again once I have my I-751 two-year anniversary from my filling date!
10 hours ago, Name O Boy said:Oh Boy if everything was in place for you from the beginning you would have been a U.S citizen by now. They took so much time to process your I -130. On the positive side, you are almost there. It is the last step for you. I think you will hear from them in August.
There is one thing I can always count on when it comes to the US immigration application - I'm usually (always?) one of the last ones to get approved!

What's with Seattle?? I am so lucky that I live in Los Angeles as the 751/400 adjudication here seems to be way faster than other cities in the country.
It may not be because of the Seattle office, it may be because of me since everything slows down once I apply!
22 hours ago, Name O Boy said:Yeah right. I also think in the next few years Portland field office will take more time than usual. Looking at your timeline I believe you have so much patience Lolzzz
Waiting for N-400/I-751 has been much easier than my I-130 application since I had to wait outside the US during my I-130 process!
I wasn't supposed to enter the US during the I-130 application process so I couldn't even look for a job or house in Seattle!

Hang in there. So sorry it is taking so long.
I'll also need to go to the Seattle office (not for the interview or oath) for yet another extension stamp in my passport since my current one expires on July 2!
13 hours ago, Name O Boy said:Lollzzzz Let's hope you don't have to wait anymore.
I'm telling future immigrants not to move to Seattle unless they want to wait forever for their N-400 applications!

That is insane, but sadly and ironically I think my husband's passing propelled them to approve my both applications. I am praying you will hear from them soon.
I have a feeling that I'll be the last one still posting messages (when everyone has moved on and left) on this thread!

You mean I'm not the only one still waiting?
14 hours ago, Name O Boy said:You should move to Portland. This is absolutely bizarre to see you wait that long I hope you hear something pretty soon.
My hubby initially talked about moving to Portland.
I said "Nope" since my priority was to get a job and there are more jobs in Seattle, thanks to Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, and Expedia.
Now I'm not sure if that was a good decision!

Got my passport yesterday. I will probably get my passport ID in a few days and Department of State will mail me back my citizenship certificate in a week or so. So glad this is finally over. Good luck to those of you who are still waiting, better days are coming, hang in there.
Congrats!

just recently, I was scheduled to be interviewed on the 20th, and I got a mail yesterday that my interview has been canceled for unforeseen reasons, and a new date will be communicated to me. I don't even know what that means and why?
Your interview has been cancelled!? That's so disappointing!

The San Fernando Valley field office lists a processing time of 11 to 14.5 months, so still within their stated processing time. It says if your case is pre- March 28, 2017 you can inquire. However, my husband's was August 2017 and we were scheduled for an interview so it's hard to tell what filing date they're actually working on.
The Seattle office states that estimated time range is 13.5 and 14.5 months! I still don't have my interview date!

I totally feel you, but please try to stay positive, I know you are really fed up, but it will come to you probably when you are least expected. Fingers crossed.
It's just unfortunate that I was right that I had a feeling that I was going to be one of the last ones again!
I don't know why I've been so unlucky when it comes to the US immigration process!

It'll happen soon
I wish I knew someone who worked at the USCIS Seattle office!
7 hours ago, rt1012 said:I'm with you... did your ROC get transferred to NBC?
I recently got a transfer message, but it was probably a mistake since my congressperson confirmed me that my I-751 and N-400 applications were in the Seattle office!

Thank you so much. Let's hope you will get your interview soon!!!!
It looks like I'm one of the last people without an interview date!
Well... It's kind of what I was expecting since I'm usually one of the last ones to hear! Oh, well.
I hope I get my interview date soon! Fingers crossed!

Was naturalized yesterday, 5/23. Finally, l thought I was going to lose my citizenship eligibility due to the passing of my husband after the 400 interview. It turned out they were aware of my husband's passing and they did approve my 400 a month ago, and the oath ceremony was obviously not a mistake. Please update, good luck. I wish my late husband were here celebrating with me, but I know he is smiling from above or in spirit. Good luck guys. August 2017 400 filer here.
I've just updated the timeline!

I think I know what's going on, and it kind of makes sense. They didn't bother to update my 751 in the system because they figured I am going to be naturalized soon(My oath is next Wed), that is why I still got those two pending updates like most of you 751/400 joint applicants did. The suspense is whether they are going to naturalize me, I assume I will lose my eligibility by law, but why did they schedule my oath? Unless they made a mistake??? Obviously for now, my 400 has been approved. I guess I will remain cautiously optimistic and realistic, if they end up naturalizing me, that will be a miracle and I will try to get the stamp on the copy of my 445 oath form so I have evidence for my own record and it is for self protection as instructed by my lawyer. If not, I will go to USCIS as an emergency basis and request them to resume my green card production immediately, I already have that 2 page packet(copy of my 751 approval letter and the title page to request) signed and ready to go if that happens. I also have an infopass appointment on 5/30 if they don't accept my request as an emergency. We will see what happens next week. I am tired and I just want this to be over. Either reject my eligibility or naturalize me or mail me the green card already. I should not have been in a situation where I always have to have a plan B because of uncertainty, but I am doing my best, I have been. I can't wait for this to be over.
Wishing you the best, but let us know how that goes next week!

Just got off the phone with a tier 2 officer. The officer told me they have more than likely suspended my green card production(My 751 was approved on 4/26/2018) because my oath ceremony has been scheduled, but the drag is my husband passed 3 days after the interview which is supposed to make me ineligible for citizenship by law, the USCIS either was clueless or they decided to override the provision of 319 section A, but I think it is the former. So like I expected, I will go to the oath and they will find me ineligible and they will resume the production of my green card. What a drag, I guess I had been waiting for so long for the 751 approval, and I finally got approved after near 21 months, I think my husband's passing triggered the approval sadly. 2 more weeks are not going to matter. Hopefully after I lose my eligibility in 2 weeks, they can resume the green card production quickly so I can get my green card soon. What a drag. They were supposed to reject my 400 first, if they did, my green card would have been in production now. Instead I have to to an oath ceremony and be rejected there. Like I have not gone through enough with my husband's passing, but at least I am happy that I am 751 approved.
Oh, No! Sounds complicated! I really hope you get your Green Card at least!

Did you get this too or anyone?
Your Case Status: Initial Review
On May 8, 2018, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number WAC××××××××62, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by June 7, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators. If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.Yep! I did too (30 minutes ago)! Another system glitch?

Oh, that explains it, i guess all the 751 cases pending and approved or not are getting the same message. What a relief for me, whew. I got panicky. Whew. About the 400, the representative on the phone told me the officer would not have scheduled my oath if they didn't approve my 400, so I have been approved, but no, no mentioning of humanitarian ground at all, I guess I will find out on the 23rd, I expect to lose my eligibility like I have been saying. I just hope I get my green card soon. Good luck to you too, this whole thing has been a nightmare for many of us.
BTW, I see your case number in your initial message of the email notification. You may want to contact the Admin to have them deleted.

I've just received a letter from USCIS stating that I filed for Service Request on Feb 1. The letter was dated on June 20!
It took them almost 5 months to reply to my Service Request to send me a generic letter stating that I should contact them again if I don't have my interview date within 90 days!
