Got the letter on saturday, August 12, 2017. I was expecting late September but it worked out well !!, 

GC will arrive with in 60 Days ! IA

Khan they did not ask for the certificate. but we submitted it, (just for precaution)

Sometimes if you fill form online, before they get your mail (or they scan your mail) they send you check list that they did not receive document, wait 1 week more, and call them ask them if they receive document, They will sure say yes !

So dont worry !

Also are you getting US Citizen ship from your wife ? if this is the case then please check if it says only fill that section if you are getting citizen ship from your parents (etc etc)

California Approval Rate is good so Far and situation in.. Pakistan is worst I do understand, but will you believe in that situation i went to US Embassy on 19th August and it was opened and it took us 2 hours for us to reach there from Islamabad it self, but I would say the US Embassy (Staff was very very good and welcoming and they appreciated us to be there) so dont worry about the situation in Pakistan, embassy send notes to ppl, in case they have issue but it will never close in Pakistan !

Did you DHL it with the receiving receipt ? it helps as you get to know by tracking package.

there is no cheapest way to send anything from Pakistan to US, I would suggest take them with you- it is 80$ per extra luggage, call your airline and ask them, I know it is tough to spend money but this is the better and best way may be airline can also give you discount aswell, but you have to call or may be best is go to their office and talk to them about it, it will help you alot !

I would advice keep close eye on situation. and wait for reschedule

Embassy is opened ad trust me we took chance and lot of ppl did not came they tought it was closed .but it as opened and embassy staff was very very helpful and also they praised us for coming to embassy. They said untill there is announcment on website consider embassy as opened. Just make sure leave 5:00 am to reach there as it takes 1.5 hours to reach to embassy

My interview was on aug 18 and due to isl political situation embassy inform us that interview has been canceled , Does some one has any idea how long it will take to reschedule ?

Fmous if you arecin ISL then call them and ask them and rechedule it ASAP. As due to this situation there are very less people in embassy for interview..

Also keep in mind that staff arives at 8:30 am

Embassy is opened and they were very co- operative ... which means visa approved Thanks God ..

Go from Bani Gala and Bara Kaho. If u are coming for interview make sure leave at 5 am if u hv interview at 7 so that u can reach on time . Go for Express Lounge for shuttle service

We came to isl early so thtvwe can go for interview ..uptill now no new annoucment from US embassy so it will be opened tomorrow

How is the situation in Pakistan as I am leaving today for my wife's interview. we both will be present to ISL embassy on Tuesday 19th 2014 , The situation in Pakistan is getting worst,

I would say NVC customer service is very good, they give information what is needed and what is allowed, and they are doing their job at their best

Yes I do understand it takes time to connect but when it is connected they provide you the exact legit detail you need !
