it  depends on the CO. Some will ask lots of proof, some dont.  In my case I was not asked but I brought bunch of email, viber, fb messenger conversation just in case they will ask.  my friend was asked those proof of  conversation luckily she brought some.

Of course her now husband visiting 5 times did everything for her K1. She said her B2s were denied and K1 Approved. Her then fiancé visiting 5 times shows the likelihood of a more “bonafide relationship” and at minimum at least one visit is required.

It seems she was saying to the OP that reapplying for a B2 is useless.

So so do you mean to tell me if he now Fiance has never visited her K1 would still have been approved? No, because at that point it wouldn’t even meet the basic requirements.

yes ma'am you are right, but I just wanna share my experience, since  the poster of this thread is a filipina too,  we're from a country, wherein immigration requires a lot of proof of the  relationship or close ties to our country.

yes u r very right:) thats what i am trying to explain that the 5x visit might helped my case proving that the relationship is real. Im not saying that it required to have that various visit but on my case I got denied for 4 times its too risky for me if all of a sudden I applied for  K1 visa if my bf visited me once only. they might scrutinized me during the interview.

of course it has nothing to do with my B2 visa.... what i am trying to say here is.... I was easily got approved on my k1 visa coz my husband visited me for 5 times.. enough proof that our relationship is genuine.. coz during my b2 visa the consul told me  these words " I know u can afford to  have a tour but the problem is u r still  single, I doubt you gonna come back here (Philippines)." 4 denials and all of a sudden I applied a K1 visa, do u think the consul wont assume me of being desperate to come here (USA) and just tried to use somebody through k1 visa? hmmmp... but since my bf ( my husband now) visited me 5x,  its an enough proof that our relationship is genuine. :₩

it makes no difference... a great possibility of denial. Im a filipina too worked in Sg before, my first attempt of applying tourist visa was in Philippines and was denied.
. Then after 2 years since I worked in Sg,  I applied again in US embassy-Singapore ,as tourist again got denied. I was denied for 4 times until my bf who is now my hubby, visited me for 5 times then applied for k1 visa and got approved without any interrogation or questions on my previous application. i guess the 5x visit of my hubby helped a lot.

Yes, call the Immigrant Visa Unit at the U.S. Embassy Manila and ask them.
By the way, what is the amount of your fiancé's annual current sustained income? What documents did you submit to the Embassy to prove it?
