  1. CONGRATULATIONS!!! We got our NOA2 the same day as you...i called this morning and still no case number. I will call again tomorrow!!!

Wonderful news for the two of you!!!

    Thank you!

I called this morning and at noon. Then I called at 3:00 based on the advice of another VJer and they had it. Be prepared to give them your birthdays and that jazz. My lady asked for Tichi's email too whcih was great!

  2. I called again just to be curious and my case was entered. So try again. I called 5 times just to be sure. So look into it.

LOL! I got it!! I was able to change Tichi's address and give them his email. I cannot track it on the CEAC tracker yet but I know that takes a couple hours to be uploaded there. Crossing my fingers that it won't go into a/p.

  3. Sept 4 noa2 recievers call today. I called nvc again and got my case number!! Best of luck to my fellow vj peoples

That's awesome! Though weren't you told that they had your case and it would take 10-20 days to enter it?

They told me that they didn't even have it. I will try to call again though to see.

Thank you for your update! Congratulations!!!

  4. I called nvc today and the rep said my case has made it today but needs to be entered. Said to wait 10 to 20 daya to enter in system.

Gosh! I called NVC this morning and they had not received ours yet. We were 9/4 also. I think different people say different things. I wish I could talk to someone that would say if our case was actually there but not loaded in the system.

  5. Hey Tichi, can you teach me how to look up timelines of people who got case numbers already? I also want to see who this Sept. 5 lucky person is =D Thanks!

    Sure.

Click on the "Immigration Timeline" tab above. Then click on the left middle of the page "K1 Stats". A grid like the Igor one comes up. Click on K1 VIsa under "Common Visas." drop down. Then you will want to enable advanced more on the right of the screen and then sort by "NVC Received" date.

    Hope this helps!

  6. That's great! Fortunately for you your service center was VSC. This thread is about CSC filers not having case numbers yet.[/quote

sorry i didn't know it was only for CSC, ours got transferred to TSC after about 5 months in VSC.

    Thanks!

I didn't mean you couldn't post I was just saying that the lead times from CSC to NVC seem to be a problem now. We all are aware of the lag from VSC on NOA2 approvals. Glad to hear yours got transferred and sent to NVC.

  7. Just saw that someone processed through CSC with an NOA2 date of Sept 5, 2013 received their case # yesterday (I-129F). Wooo Hoooo!! Let's hope more September NOA2 case #'s are issued today! C'mon NVC!! woo hooO!! kicking.gif

Saw that. Still don't have September 4th cases or 3rd for that matter. LOL! But, I'm glad to see one was touched from September. I know there was an I130 from Septmeber also.

  8. Got our NOA 2 Sept 16 and as of Sept 27,2013 we already have a MNL case number, Oct 10 physical file has arrived at US Embassy Manila and we received a notification that we can go ahead and schedule an appointment. Oct 30 is my interview date.

That's great! Fortunately for you your service center was VSC. This thread is about CSC filers not having case numbers yet.

  9. hey people, I suggest this topic so we can have an idea about who has the NOa2 from September and still waiting for the NVC finally give us the case # ....I'm going crazy with this delay... But we need to trust that soon this will be done, so my NOA2 is from September 6th, and of course I am still waiting.... Anyone from September (CSC) already has good news from NVC? Also do you guys know if the consulate book the interviews based on the NOA2 date or NVC case number date?

NOA2 September 4th and called NVC this morning and nothing yet. I did see in the timlines that someone received a case number that had an NOA2 date of September 5th (CSC) so it appears they are working on them slowly.

  10. SooOOoo just called USCIS again to check status on shipment as the NVC still hasn't received case. I was told the following by the USCIS agent, "USCIS has between 30-90 days to actually ship your packet to the National Visa Center. All documents both newly issued and originally submitted must be gathered together by us before we will ship your packet to them." <<huh.png>> As far as she could tell, my case has yet to be shipped. It's been approved for 25 days now, not as long as others on here but seriously?? This is the first I've ever heard them state this. Has anyone else heard this from USCIS regarding CSC filers?

They have never said that to me. The tier 2 rep I spoke with said that if NVC does not have our case after 45 days to call back and escalate the "referral" I have already put in.

I believe that each person on here gets another song and dance when the talk to CIS. It is looking like they are going through August 28th and 29th CSC filers now. I did see an I130 from CSC that had a September 3rd approval finally go through so we shall see. I am thinking we should have our number by Friday or at latest next Tuesday.

  11. NVC question :

We got approved Oct. 1st - application sent to NVC Oct. 3. I'm not sure when they received it, because I waited till today (2 weeks from NOA2) to call to give them some time. I got my case number today when I called and just checked the status online.

It says "At NVC" ... which makes sense, but then also says

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) for the next step in the processing of your visa petition. If you have misplaced the instructions sent to you by the NVC or did not receive them, please contact us at http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html for additional information.

Is that normal? Is there something I'm supposed to be doing before they send it over to the embassy? I didn't expect there to be instructions or something sent to me, and I certainly haven't received anything yet?

NVC sends you a letter with your case number. Chances are it will probably hit the embassy before you receive that letter. The beneficiary will have to wait for word on packet 3.

  12. I wish USCIS would just let us know which NOA2 dates have been shipped and within which dates so that people will be less worried.

    Something like..

NOA2's dated Sept 1 to 15 will be sent out Oct. 15 to NVC!

    They're hoarding them all anyway.

Is this too much to ask? >.<

This will lessen the calls they get and they don't have to be bishes to customers that call. So what if the petition was approved quickly, that means we have no right to follow up after waiting weeks? LOL. The horror.

Every person I have talked to there has not divulged this information. I know there are some people on this site who have been told that their petitions were shipped but I have talked to tier 2 reps who have been very evasive with direct questions. Hopefully we hear something this week!

  13. Hi everyone.

We got our NOA2 on October 8th and we are now trying to contact the NVC or the DoS to get our case number, or see if one has been assigned yet. When i call the DoS it just gives me information about visas, not able to connect to a person. On the website it said tomorrow (the 16th) the phone lines will change and there will be a new number to call. The number to the DoS also gave me a number to the NVC which was (603) 334-0700, and that number just beeps right away like a busy signal. We NEED to get ahold of them as soon as possible so we can keep up on our case. I tried a few different numbers, but none seem to get me to a person to help. ANY help and responses would be greatly appreciated! Thank You Everyone! smile.png

    Gus and Crys

NVC lines are always busy. You just have to keep trying or call when they open at 7:00 EST. All you do at DOS is push 1 then 0. You just needed to wait a bit to hear the prompts. You should be able to talk to a human there easier. If you filed through CSC though, you probably won't have a case number yet.

I might be wrong but maybe because today is federal holiday (Columbus Day) so nobody was answered the phone. Just my guess.

Columbus Day was yesterday in the US. October 14th.

  14. I show one noa2 august 28 that got their case number today... they were from csc... hope next week they will start with september noa2... =)

I hope so too! I am hoping for 44 days. That is seeming to be more of the trend so possibly next Friday for us.

I spoke with a Tier 2 rep at CIS today and she couldn't understand why I was frustrated. She said our case was adjudicated in 37 days and there are people still waiting from May. I told her I felt bad for those people but this has nothing to do with being approved. It has to do with shipping a package from one point to another. She said if after 45 days NVC has not received our case to call back and push through a follow up on the referral that was created.

For now the weekend is here and we can all relax for a couple days while NVC and CIS regroup. LOL! :D
