What did your lawyer say ? I can feel your pain , 14 months is just so unfair when some people get approved in days , or 1-2 months.. plain unfair
I know this is a privilege, but there has to be some compassion, 14 months meaning at-least 2 years to be with loved one is sad
-
I am so sorry to hear that , did you at least get some communication RFE or something? Are you doing anything about it?
-
My file went to NBC.
Does anyone know if it will get adjudicated there or needs to e transferred to a local office?
If so do I see a touch or an update that says so?
-
Any May filer approved yet? I dont think even all Aprils are approved.
Laurel Scott says that there should be drastic drop in i130 processing times for August and later.
They better finish all the May filers before they start August
... please please please
Already 5 months over and on 6th month....
-
omg congrats! btw 7months
did u atleast get an rfe or something?
-
Jane21
Did you atleast get an RFE, or no response at all? Are you doing anything about it?
-
Ohh sorry , I just read my own post again and I realized how cryptic it might be if you dont have the context.
On the uscis website the processing time shows 16 something months now as average processing time
So do I have to wait that long to call them if I dont get a response on the i130?
I really hope not
any thoughts?
-
Does it mean 16.6 to be out of processing time for i130? so if after 9 months I dont get a response I wait for 16.6 months for i130 and another maybe 8 months for the rest?
Makes me wanna cry . what is everyone else thinking?
Does this apply for all who files when teh avg processing time it was still 9 months?
Loosing hope.. im on 5 months now

Goldensky,

I am facing panic attacks bigtime
... numbness. This is just four months into the process.. what will I do during interview?
-
Thanks , I guess reading around too much might have been messing with my head
-
Do they do a brain MRI. I am terrified of brain MRI
What are the tests I will be put through?
-
Why was your case denied for before reaffirmation? Maybe thats the reason?
-
I have read so many posts on how the interviewer does not even look at the evidence and outright denies the visa. Such things scare me a lot .
I am already on my fourth month of i130 and I am sure it will b e no less than a eight month wait , and what if after all this trouble the interviewer just denies me out of ego or something? Does that happen a lot?
-
There has to be a reason why they refused you... Did they communicate that in the interview or any other red flags?
You should rather try to address the cause of the refusal and fight it , rather than give up
-
Was it the same person who interviewed you the first time?
Did she express any concern or reason for why she thought your relationship was not real

Hi , I am approaching 4 months. Given the new processing time when is the right time to wake up from slumber?
On one hand I don't want to over wait if there is a possibility that after 6 months service requests/info pass might help me.
But I also don't want to start going crazy too soon and keep my calm
-
Im a may filer too, can the best case be December?
-
8 months for a touch, yeah K1 sounds better to me.. praying hard
-
Me too me too, I just hope after waiting 8 months they don't make me cry.
Also I am terrified of waiting all the way to interview and then been put into mandatory AP or something ...
Where will I get the strength from
-
Do they let us "Case Services follow-up appointment" without a service request pending for 45 days ?
-
Thats a really big setback
now from total processing time of 8 months it would be like a year and a half with RFE etc

did your infopass help?
