Received our RFE . They are asking for 3 things

1- the joint sponsors proof of citizenship (easy)

2- proof of income of joint sponsor.. It says we sent proof of how much they make but no proof of actual income ... Not sure what that means but we'll send off pay stubs and bank statements and employment letter

3-according to submitted documents , joint sponsor income isn't above 125% poverty . To either show that person does or get a new joint sponsor

My mom is his sponsor, so we are going to get everything as quick as possible ... But idk why they say she's under poverty because she's not

Still no sign of hard copy of my RFE .. It's been a week and some days . UGHHHH !! ????

Did your daughter come over on a K2 visa?

Otherwise, no, the USCIS knows nothing about your daughters birth certificate.

No she was born in the US

Our biometrics is tomorrow. Super excited for the 8 hour trip with a 7month old for a 5 minute appt! LOL

The USCIS website still isn't registering our cases online. Says they're non existent in the database. FRUSTRATING!

No, it should not affect your EAD. Mine hasn't been touched since July 9th. From what I've seen from the June filers, we should be hearing something on our EAD by the end of August - beginning of September. Hang tight!

Hey guys , still haven't received my RFE for I-485 .. It's been 3 days only so maybe this week we'll get it.

I wanted to know if it affects the EAD too ? Like the status case on EAD doesn't say RFE but it hasn't changed since July 6.... Just wondering

Yeah the RFE is on the i-485 cos the status of EAD is still the same. I hope and pray so that ot doesn't affect it

Ours and other RFEs have been easy. It will be something simple.

Pray to God it is . We sent everything that I know of ... I feel it might be something that shows we live together ... Like bank statements or taxes or lease... Idk . We'll see

there is nothing weird that you've got RFE right after biometrics, moreover everyone can receive during the whole process. It's up to them,what they want to request. Really sorry that it happened to you, hope it's nothing serious. I also thought that you receive RFE within one month after NOA1, but apparently it absolutely on them, when to send it.

Thanks , yeah with the visa the RFE was a couple months after . I'm still happy things are going so fast so I'm not going to let this bring our moods down. I'll jus be obsessing with the mail for this week ? Whatever it is , we'll make sure to send it back quickly

When did you have biometrics? When was your NOA1?

NOA1 was July 6 & then we received 2 biometrics letters. One for Aug 3 & Aug 7. RFE Aug 11 ..But the RFE seems to be for the green card.... Case status for EAD is the same

Checked our case status and apparently we were sent an RFE today . Wonder what it is. We'll be ready

Went to biometrics yesterday for green card . In and out about 20 minutes. Friday we have to go back again for the same thing. I was told some offices like having separate fingerprints and pictures

So my weekend has been made . A week later and we received our biometrics appointments. One is August 3rd and the other August 7th . I'm so happy !

I only got 2 hard copies . I guess they just discarded the I-130 since it didn't apply to me and was sent by mistake

Got my NOA1 hard copies in the mail ! I kinda knew they'd be coming in today because I kept checking the mail lol

So filed July 2, Recieved July 6 & NOA1 July18

Separate letter. Mine came exactly one week after NOA. But that all depends on your local office and when they can schedule you.

Well i don't know what actually happened ... Because I only received two receipt numbers instead of three .... I'm wondering which petition wasn't accepted

If they don't like something in your package you don't get notice of acceptance, they send it back for people to correct and refile. If you got your NOAs then if they don't like something later they will send you RFE and you will correct whatever needed if anything.

By the way on USCIS website my receipts for EAD and AP are dated July 2 and green card application July 8, but for some reason e-mails and texts were from July 9. Waiting for hard copies too.

And I just realized that I sent I-130 instead of -131 .... I'm freaking out . Will they just trash it or mark my case as incomplete...

Just received the email and text that our case was received ! Now to wait for the actual receipt notice
