I just hang up with a CSR (customer service representative) from USCIS, I requested for an expedite regarding my case. My PD is JUNE 13, 2013. my case was originally sent to OVERLAND PARK, KS however when I talked to the CSR she said that my case is in MISSOURI. I never receive any letter, email or text that my case was transferred. Any way, they said they will let me know in 5 days if they will approve my request or not. If they are not going to approve my expedite request, at least they will be able to pull out my case and take a look at it. I really miss my husband.. I know everybody here misses their spouses too. I wish we can all be happy at christmas time with our love ones... Good luck to us... I will let you know what will happen...

My husband filed for me and my daughter in March 2013, Case got transferred Oct. 17,2013 Nebraska USCIS, He is Dallas, Case approved todayyyy , what do I expect next , he is here in Jamaica with me now, So he should receive NOA2 when he gets back home next week. What do I prepare on my end for him when he hears from NVC ? How long do you think until we hear from NVC?

Just got approved! I am so happy, was in the meeting and got a notification on my cell that my case got approved! I have updated the timeline fellow VJ'rs! I wish you all best of luck

After contacting my congressman and having my petition expedited I received my NOA2 today! Thanks for your help everyone who gave me honest answers.

can you share what was your reason for having your expedite request approved? I would like to request expedite but I don't have idea of the possible reasons I can use. Thanks

if you will check the website, it shows that they are currently processing oct 2012 filers the green card holders will only have 5 months to wait for their spouses, children under 21 years old or parents. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do

I mailed our I130 march 27 and delivered march 29. I have a NOA1 dated April 1. I am USC living in USA and my wife is from Philippines. I have read of 45 day waits from NOA1 to NOA2 from those married to Filipinos. Hoping I recieve the NOA2 around May 15.

Where did you see the 45 days wait?? I hope it is true.. Did you get you NOA2 already?

well yo got married DEC 2011 and it will be 2 years in 6 months , what i ment was that you guys been together for this long and IMO it dose make it a bit easier as they see this relationship stronger .!

No.. after our wedding day I need to go back here in US because of school. and He needs to go back abroad to work. basically we did not lived together at all, But we know each other since high School because we lived in the same town back home in the philippines.

what do you mean by easier case? I don't know if our category will be in IR-1 or CR-1 visa because I know if its 2 years it will be IR-1 right?

It's typically 10-12 months at maximum.

Obviously there's some straggling cases that either are not proactive or have special circumstances, but saying 10-12 months minimum makes the process seem much longer than it typically is.

For me, my process should take 8 months almost to the day

Yeah it depends. Seems NBC/MSC is having a hard time at this moment. I'm March filer and it's been 3 months since we got our NOA1, still on Initial Review. Well, I'm patiently waiting. Good luck!
