In my case, yes, the RFE "Notice of Continuance" was issued after the N-400 Interview.
If your case is already up to Oath scheduling, I expect no RFE would be issued anymore. Since I got my Approval like your on Nov 20th (1 day after my previous post, of course!), I am also waiting on my scheduled date for the ceremony.

I'm a Las Vegas N-400 applicant, received my ROC (I-751) back in Dec-2017, and applied Online on Jul-2018. My interview was in Jul-2019, received a RFE that I responded to earlier this month, still waiting for a response, hopefully within the 30-60 days I have seen for other cases around here 👍.

For my AOS (2.5 years ago) I also received a call (I am the petitioner) from an IO asking for my wife at home, she was unavailable (I was at work and I was sure she was sleeping soundly at home), and I told them so, then the IO asked me about my car (??) and to describe it... which was weird, since I drove to work with it, but the IO told me they would reach a decision soon. Within a couple weeks my case was approved.

Nothing to worry about yet, you still have 6 months, so just wait and see; once June Filers start being approved you can start calling for status.
Also, when your extension letter gets close to expiration (within 30 days or so) you should make an InfoPass Appointment to get an I-551 stamp on your passport as proof of your immigration status.
I am a July Filer, so I am also looking at the June Filers to get a feeling of when our application is starting to be looked at.

Successful Walk-In yesterday at 1:30 pm at the Las Vegas, NV office. Original appt. on October 13th.
Asked why I was too early by both the guard and the receptionist, I answered that I had another appointment and I wouldn't be available.
It seems I picked lunch time, since I had to wait for the receptionist for 10-15 mins, and one of the technicians helped fill out a form after being done with the only other applicant in the room. After that, it was done within 10 mins.

I also received my Biometrics Appointment letter the day before yesterday!
I was scheduled for October 13th, but did a walk-in yesterday (09/30/16 Walk-in (Org. Appt - 8/13) since that day I have another appointment, and the Las Vegas ASC is 10 minutes driving distance from my workplace :-)
Now to wait for the next feedback from the CSC!

We don't have children from our marriage, I -GC holder- have custody of my son from a previous marriage (and he is US citizen) and he is listed in part 5 of I 751. Do I need to include his birth certificate?
Also I have the following questions in few parts of the form:
9. USCIS ELIS Acct number (if any) ....what is this information?
Mailing address
15.a. In Care of Name ....I am totally confused on this question.
Physical address
N/A because is as same as Mailing.
Biographic Information
2. Race (Select all applicable boxes)....I am Mexican and selected "Hispanic or Latino" in 1. Etnicity. I don't know what box to select on question #2.
We are not using any 3rd party or interpreter to fill up the from, so we are answering N/A in all boxes on part 9 and 10. Is this correct?
11. Additional information I can't see what other information I could add that I need to use this section. Am I missing something important?

Part 1-9. Not sure about the ELIS Acct #, if you don't know, probably you don't have one.
Part 1-12. Place of Marriage: I put the place where the marriage took place, not the wedding or where the marriage was recorded.
Part 1-15.a - This applies if the address to receive mailing is not registered to you, and somebody else picks up the mail for you, otherwise just leave it blank.
Part 2-2. Race: I picked White, since none of the other ones applies to me. If you identify with any other race select the proper one.

*Finally* a Citizen! 😄
Took my oath last Friday, with another 61 applicants, the ceremony was both nice and efficient, we were there for about 2.5 hrs, including the judge allowing us to take pictures with her.
Thanks everyone for their support and information! Still will lurk around to get all the info for post-oath documents 😉
