Well it's dated May 1st and that's when the first new local office status popped up so it may just be a letter saying that our case was transferred. Or maybe it actually is approval. Who knows. Has anyone else seen a letter coming?

The mailman is here but he refuses to give me my letters until he's done with all mailboxes :@ I'll update you guys soon when he's done lol

Guys we got a letter from California service center coming today.

They dont know. When hubby went in to get his stamp the IO told him ROC probably wouldn't be approved till next year. They dont know because they don't work in the department that adjudicates petitions.

You are welcome. Next week USCIS will mess with us again by sending us all those texts and emails. It's hard to take those notifications serious anymore but my gut feeling is that there is some progress going on. This month will be crucial as many things will unfold

You are almost there I can say you are done with 75% of your immigration journey  yelling on top my lungs "that's enough USCIS we want to be over this year" successfully  

From what I've seen on VJ you only get a physical letter when you receive the status that states your case has been transferred and is under a new offices jurisdiction which is the case for most of us here. So we'll probably see one next week.

Oh lol yeah! I got the stars wars part. But I was wondering,maybe there was some news about an update on the 4rth and the 7th for whatever reason. Nothing is no longer strange, when its about USCIS. Weekends are a bit of a bummer because you know that there are  going to be no updates but I have never so fervently looked forward to monday mornings  expecting that magic text or email from USCIS😄

I think you are absolutely right. Just had a talk with a very friendly tier 2 officer, he mentioned that the reason for all those transfers happening almost everyday to different locations is that it's not meant to make sense to us. All it means is that an aspect of the case was worked on and completed by uscis department, when they complete their work they update the system and it shows up on our end case transfer to a specific location. So i think that means approvals are round the corner, for at least most i hope by early next week

Yes @ALY LEYVA that's the status you'll have until they'll schedule your interview.
Regarding time frame, that depends on your local office.

Hopefully it hasn't been combined with our n400 or else our ROC will be delayed for a long time since Minnesota is backlogged.

Did you put change of address in? Is the PO box address on the mail you receive at homes?

The only way to find out is with the letter I'm afraid. 
If my memory serves me right,  I got the letter about 2 or 3 days after the email.

Expect approval on your ROC very soon I heard if your case is transferred to Texas and then you get a birth date correction message it means you're about to be approved. It's what I've seen so far here on VJ.

From what I understand filling N-400 doesn't hurt your I-751 because your local office won't ask for the first case until they're ready to process your citizenship. Meaning, your I-751 might be processed before your N-400 if your local office is so behind.

Guys just checked on ROC bug number. It's been updated! Now says "your case was transferred to local office" on May 1st. What do you guys think this means? No updates on n400.
