    Congratulations! How was it?
Are they asking any questions about public charge?

    you guys!

they are very interested in tattoos and the meaning behind them if you have one. I don’t have any tattoos but I was overhearing other interviews. They do ask if you have ever had any trouble with the police.

My interview went pretty fast, they asked for my husbands 2018 taxes and acta de antecedentes penales Mia. Make sure you guys take those!

Try not to give them long answers. Yes or no answers and keep them short 😬

i will be posting a YouTube video later tonight with details and all.

  2. Does anyone know what this means?

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) notified the National Visa Center (NVC) that you filed Form I-601A, Application for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver. The NVC will continue to process your I-130 immigrant visa petition but will not schedule your interview pending adjudication of your waiver application by USCIS. If you have questions concerning the waiver application please contact USCIS at 1-800-375-5283. Please continue to respond to all requests for forms, documents, and fees that you receive from the NVC.

If you have questions concerning your I-130 immigrant visa petition please contact the NVC by telephone at 603-334-0700, or by e-mail at NVCInquiry@state.gov.

Thank you so much for your help.

    I will follow your instructions.

I applied for I601A in August.

    Bio appointment Sept 28.

I just start to collect information to fill out both form.

    I have other questions:

When I fill the DS-260 , do I need to use my address here in State as permanent and mailing address ?

How is the other address? I lived few different places but same country from age 16. Do I need to fill all of them?

I do appreciate for your help. 😀

what do you mean by "collect information to fill out both forms"?

I'm assuming you mean your DS260 since you already sent your I601A and already received your BIO appointment.

yes, you do need to use your address in which you currently reside as your address but you can use a different address as your mailing address.

you must provide all adresses where you have lived since age 16.

Are you already submitted DS-260 and AOS after bio? I confused, my lawyer said wait until waiver approved...but lot of people said I can send them before. I worry NVC close my case again...1 year without communication close to me. Help!

    Hi,

I was told to submit my I601A first, and once I received my appointment for biometrics to submit my DS260 and AOF because if they received those two before my I601A being approved wouldnt be a good idea. You want to make sure your I601A is waved before receiving a consular appointment date.

I suggest you call them and let them know you are currently working on your case and you do not want them to close it. I had to call them twice to let them know not to close mine. You then receive an email from them confirming the case will remain open.

Thankfully the name is an easy fix. What’s important is that they received it and now it’s just about playing the waiting game. Thanks for letting us know that they are working on February. That means my husband should hear something soon!! Good luck to you 👍🙏

Hi, the name change should take about 3 weeks according to them. I also received my biometrics appointment for 9/7/18 😀

    Hello,

I just sent my 601A on Wednesday July 25, 2018 and they received it on Friday the 27th. I will keep you guys posted on my timeline. Good Luck to everyone! :)

So I received my receipt notice today 8/17/18 just to find out that my last name is missing 1 letter 🤦‍♀️

I also spoke to someone and they said they are currently working on February 2018 cases.

  9. Hello, Couple of questions hope you guys can help.

I arrived here as a child without inspection in 1999. Married my husband 2011.

We filed I-130 with G-325 A , on January 30 2013 USCIS received my package and on

April 1, 2013 we received I-797 of approval.

On the approval letter it states..

"The above application has been approved. The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status. He or she should contact the local USCIS office to obtain for I-485, Application for Permanent Residence. A copy of this noticed should be mailed with the application.

If the person for whom you are petitioning decides to apply for a visa outside the US based on this petition, the petitioner should file form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, to request that we send the petition to the Department of State National Visa center.

What should I do next? A local immigration office told me I need to wait until they send me another form?!? Which I was insecure about.

I went to a lawyer and he says USCIS made a mistake on my application as they are indicating I'm going to apply for an adjustment of status from here (USA)

I understand that in order for me to adjust I'm going to have to go to Ciudad Juarez, which I did indicate in my I-130 application.

I am very confused. Any thoughts on this? Similar cases? What's next?

    Thanks guys.
