Congratulations heytoot! You should post your approval in the April thread and enter your info in the April spreadsheet. Did you receive an expedite?
-
Congratulations and good luck with NVC to all 3! Raajaji, what was your transfer date?
CSC is really moving. Less transfers than NSC but 3 times the number of approvals.
-
I think he meant NSC.
-
VJ readers have a much better idea what's being processed right now by the service centers than the USCIS status pages show (even though they happen to be closer to reality than they have been recently). Just follow the Feb/Mar/Apr threads and look at the transfer spreadsheets.

My case was transferred to Nebraska on November 6th and still no action pd is March 4th.
They're still working on October transfers. Nothing with transfer later than 10/24 has been approved and there are several earlier ones still being processed.
-
for those who were transferred whats best case scenario? 130 approval by end of this year?
If they start transferring April to CSC, pretty good. It seems everyone is being transferred to NSC (with the exception of the one expedite), which is only adding to its backlog. Less than half of NSC's transfers in October have been approved and things are slowing down.

Thank you
Transfer date to California Service Center was 10/29/13
Great, thanks for entering that date.
I think Nebraska is still on Feburary filers? and they are taking their precious time.?
You're right. 43% (9 of 21) of NSC Feb transfers and 27% (3 of 11) of TSC have NoA2. CSC only had one transfer and it's been approved.

Hi All 'March 2013 I-130 Filers' - We filed on 3/6 and just got our NOA2 yesterday, 11/19.
Good luck and keep checking the USCIS website. They seem to now be moving the March filers through. According to the chart, about 25% of them are now approved/processed.
Congrats! What was your transfer date?

I tried my best, no transfer to tier 2, I called them 3 times already.
Keep trying until you get the right person or make something up, like you're going on a trip and want to resolve the RFE before leaving.
-
In the spreadsheet, I see 4 from CSC and one TSC.
-
Everyone, please make sure your info in the transfer spreadsheet is correct/complete and indicate whether you got RFE or expedite (Y/N). The list is by user name, not beneficiary&petitioner, so make sure you're not already in the list before adding yourself.
-
Thanks, En. I've done some cleanup and added some more columns and some users from the timelines.

There haven't been any reports of transfers to Vermont, so the tier 2 got it 75% right (which is an improvement, really).
-
I've added 2 new columns to the spreadsheet: Number of days from Transfer to NoA2 and NoA1 to NoA2. It could make it easier to see how fast transfers are moving.
-
Wow, after a quiet weekend, and just as we thought USCIS was taking Monday off, three transfers in rapid succession and one of them the first TSC! Congratulations to each one of you!

Update if this also helps, today my fiance rang the NVC apparently they received it on Thursday and the guy said it is currently in AP, I am assuming that means they are doing checks, necessary work on it to send it to the Embassy, so I will check on any updates to find out how long NVC have it for.
Keep calling them until they have assigned you Case and Invoice Identification Numbers. You should also read at least the first two posts in the Nov NVC filers thread.

So i got my official transfer notice, and to my surprise my husband's petition was transferred to Nebraska.. But I live in Texas, okay anyways, does anyone have any information regarding approvals from the Nebraska service center?
Your location has no effect on which service center you're transferred to. Read this thread and look at the March filers spreadsheet.
-
Okay, today, my transfer letter arrived.
Dates of transfer notifications:
11/13
11/14
11/15
The letter is dated 11/14
File sent to NSC
I updated my transferred location, but cannot update the numbers in the summary box. Please someone update that portion for me.
Also, question, if my first notification was 11/13, but the letter is dated 11/14, should I change the transfer date to 11/14 on the chart?
Don't touch the summary box numbers, they're updated automatically. And yes, use the I-797C Notice Date.

I'm pretty sure there was one end of February transfer that was approved at TSC so don't get too sad. And just remember, the hundreds or so of people on this forum are just a small percentage of the thousands of people that have packages. So while the numbers on here may be a good representation of how cases are moving, it's still a pretty small sample size of all the cases being processed. So there's still reason to expect an approval this month or shortly after.
Exactly. The last approved TSC transfer had NOA1 2/28, was transferred 10/29 and got NOA2 11/8. Pretty fast, at 10 days.
ETA: Unfortunately, there are March TSC transfers as early as 10/23 who haven't reported NOA2.
-
Looking at the spreadsheet, it appears that CSC is the center moving the fastest, by far. The 7 transfers having NOA2 took an average of 11 days. NSC has the same number of transfers (31) but only 3 approvals which took an average of 17 days (and there hasn't been an approval in 9 days). As for TSC, nothing yet.

Local office is a office that is close to where you live in your home state somewhere and yes it is quite normal my case was transferred to my local as well as other so don't worry.
This may have been true during your process but it's not longer the case. That email is erroneous. Transfers currently go to the Service Centers in California, Nebraska and Texas.

My pd is 4/1/2013. My file is tranferred to st louis missouri service center on 11/13/2013. how to find out proccessing time for this center? Is there anyone else here file also transferred to this service center?
There is no St. Louis service center, it's a local field office. I very much doubt it's processing I-130s right now. Were you told that on the phone or does is say so in the hard copy you received? If the former, you either misheard or were given the wrong information. Either wait for the hard copy in the mail or call back and speak to a Tier 2.
-
I just got the third notification. It came through text; there was no email received yet.
It said the usual ppl are getting, ".... being processed...."
I did get 2 texts on 11/1 but they were identical. That's why I only mentioned the 2 emails.
-
Same here
first on 11/12
second on 11/13
And that's it.
I only got 2 emails, 10/31 and 11/01. I got the hardcopy on 11/04.

Cool, I didn't realize PD/NoA1 could be so far apart. Thanks for entering your info in the spreadsheet and good luck with NVC.
