Hi everyone. Hope all is well. I've been just reading the forum since there was too much tension going on. Anyway.

My petition is denied. I just got a notification this morning that they sent me final denial decision and will receive it within 15days. Im not sure the reason til i get the letter. Ive got RFE for prof of my husband's citizenship and requested them to look for it their own cuz there was no way i can collect the doc they wanted. Maybe that's the reason of denial. I dont know what to do now.

Its so depressing.

Wish i would have happy holidays.. Oh well...

The Burden of Proof was on you and you for some reason believed that USCIS needed the Proof of your spouse citizenship and as a result THEY (USCIS) should get it. You may have to appeal this decision which buys you time.Or refile. Nevertheless, as a petition in any matter, be it in lawsuit or whatever it is, please remember THE BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON YOU

People are too much in this forum. Changing their names , messaging you and others to get info. going back and forth discussing and gossiping about other members to other members when the only focus should be VAWA and approvals. That confirms what I suspected. He/she was asking about how to rush naturaliztion so they could bring a family member (now know to be a spouse) to the US. All the posts make you question the validity of the VAWA claim.

She who is HE aparently is married despite having had an AOS interview 2011 (abandoned because spouse reneg and ddnt show up), He is now with an approved vawa 2012 and is now a married man to another woman who wants immigration to jump hoops and give him a green card... This is vawa soap opera and its insane

A friend texted me this info a while back and i shared it.It has no bearing as far as i understand on our case, We are Vawa filers , some with approvals. I am seldom on here now and may not be able to respond promptly to any further questions

anajnic Uscis will continue workingm but keep in mind that some delay is expected once USCIS have some furloughed staff and work with other agencies as well , the system E-verify will not work. The shutdown will not affect AOS interview ok.
