    Congrats Obrakeo!

Luukee I can't speak for Obrakeo, but I know my wife and I didn't have her Ho Khau and identification translated.

Thanks everyone. As all of you know all too well it was a long time coming.
Alex you know we will have to meet up for sure. Either Vegas orSan Francisco will work.
Osman09 I don't think they normally allow fiances to participate in the interview, but I didn't really give them an option. When they finally called our number, I walked our paperwork up to the window myself. After he asked her a few questions he asked me to have a seat.
Obrakeo: I made a mistake on our date. Luckily I double checked and realized it was int the 8th.
Tighfield: We are going to definitely enjoy ourselves. We are flying to Phu Quoc on the 14th, then to Rach Gia to visit her friends and family while wait for her visa to arrive.
Luukee: Normally I don't mind the traffic, but that morning I was capping my pants, because I thought we were going to be late. The house I rented is in Quan Tân Phu, near the airport. As far as paperwork goes, I front loaded my petition and they had most of my paperwork at the counter. I think they only took my affidavit for support and all of the paperwork my fiancée required. They didn't look at my birth certificate, paystubs, taxes, letter from work, updated emails or bank statements.
    Thanks everyone.

Lukee we actually weren't very nervous at all; we knew all ofor our paperwork was in order and had more than enough proof. We kept each other company and guessed who did and did not pass. It seemed like most people passed, but the few that didn't were missing paperwork and we're told to return with it. The only time I was actually nervous was during morning rush our and not thinking we would make it on time.
Thanks Whisky. My best friend and his family came to SG with me so we're gonna go have a good dinner to celebrate.

Our appointment was at 0800hrs, but after watching so many happy faces and a few sad ones,we were the last to be called. I went to the window with my fiancée and they asked us a few questions, then told me to have a seat. They asked her when and how we met. How long we've been together. Where do I work. Where do I live. They only asked about 5 or 6 questions before approving her. Now we have all month to relax and enjoy our vacation.

I've had 4P before and its pretty good. I'll be in SG next month and I think I'll give Banh Bao Nuong a try. I'll also be stopping by Chuck's to eat a burger and hangout with the owner Charles for a bit.

    This is what I read
"Each Embassy requires that your fiancee bring her passport, birth certificate and police record. If your fiancee was previously married, she must bring an original document showing the marriage was terminated. In some countries it is the practice of the "local government" to issue a Certificate of No Marriage. This document shows that your fiancee has always been single. If your fiancee's country issues such a document the consulate will want to see it".

I agree with you luukee, but I had no other choice at the time. I tried calling and they would not help me in anyway over the phone. I wasn't going to let their mistake keep me and my girl apart any longer than we already have. Seeing each other 2 to 3 times a year is not enough. On another note, I did not label my last 4 as a SS#, so it could be any number. I also have access to do background checks, check police records and I review my credit report almost every other day to see if anyone has applied for anything in my name. I know this is not a compete fail safe, but I do try to be careful the best I can.

I ran into the same problem as you. If you're on a laptop or desktop it won't show the box to write the 500 characters, but it appears on your smart phone. I also didn't resubmit anything, just my last 4 of my social. When I inquired on my laptop, I just put a few spaces after my email and wrote my last 4 after that. When I submitted an inquiry a second time, because they spelled my fiancee's name incorrectly, I used my smart phone and typed in my last 4 in the message box that's available.

I would wait about a week. If you don't get it by then, go to the website I listed below and enter all of the required information correctly. Then choose "I have not received my immigrant/fiancee visa instruction package" from the drop down menu. Once the consulate receives this, they should send you the Packet 3 instruction letter via email.

My thoughts exactly. I'll see if the place will take a deposit, despite not having a set date and take some brochures and other information to the interview and go from there.

Bring all original documents for your I-134, bank stmts, pay stubs, letter of employment, tax return 3 years, updated letter on intent to marry. She will need her police certificate #2 which can take a month but with some coffee money you can get it in like a few days. Hope that will get you started early as you wait for your NOA2. Any questions feel free to ask me.
