I wasn't at the interview, but this is what I can remember from what my wife said:

They asked only for our financial support docs, which my wife gave them all of my paystubs and tax transcripts, since I already had copies that were previously sent to NVC, they only took the new ones that were not included.

After that she was sent to wait at another window. When it was her turn, there was an American interviewer and a Vietnamese translator.

He asked her if she could speak English, so she said yes. in this case, it was kind of funky, because he asked very little about me.

just asked:

what does he do, where does he live, and then asked to see evidence of relationship, which my wife gave him a stack of pictures. He just glanced through the first few, then flip through the rest.

he then asked her about Taiwan, since she was in Taiwan before, so he asked her in mandarin why she was in Taiwan.

so she replied in mandarin to him. So the guy was a bit shocked at how many languages she can speak hehe

in any case, that was pretty much it.

oh he made one last comment to her "Please don't do naaaiilllls"
