Also I don't know if any of you are lucky enough to live near them but there are a few tescos open over here, under another name,,,,,don't know what its like but there is no place on earth than the real tescos! oh and Marks & Spencer too!

I don't know what it is over here but I hate the smell of the supermarkets, all of them smell horrid, puts me off spending much time in the place never mind the food you CAN'T buy in them,,,,,why is it you go to a resturant and the bread is decent and when you buy bread in the suprmarket/deli/bakery its terrible??????

When I had my last photo done was full of a cold, and looked rotton on it, glad to be getting shut of it, especially when the immigration look at my passport and my green card as if to say,,,,this is the same person???? LOL

Good point about the photo, didn't give it another thought that it would be the photo on your green card for the next 10 years,,,,have to make sure I look Ok for Tuesday!

I am wondering why Vermont isn't even moving dates? Anyone any ideas? Is it they have took on too much taking on I129F visa processing along with California? They never even move dates when the processing times come up! Even worse now we are coming in to "holiday" season when there seems to be a "holiday" for goverment workers a couple of times a month!

A few times when I came thru immigration and was secondary interviewed the officer used to tell me my name was flagged, and each time I come thru I will be questioned as my name was "flagged"

I am wondering what is so different with the california centre that the other 3 centres can't follow!

More staff? who knows?

Just wondering,

When speaking to someone about all this immigration stuff they told me, and was just wodering if anyone else thought the same, that the whole year (from 2004 until 2005) that I waited for my conditional green card to be processd that that would count toward my citiizenship application, inclusive of my conditional green card and my one year waiting for it that that is the 3 years? anyone else hear that?

I am waiting for my husband to call the line and ask as I know if I call they won't understand what Im saying

I have used my green card that many times I don't remember!

One of the times at EWR he took it to one side and was trying to see something in the lights there,,,,,wonder if I wore it out! Each time they always ask me so where is your husband? I tell them hes waiting for me in arrivals,,,if he isn't hes in big trouble!

You never know it may work in the reverse they may want to show us that they can move out of reverse gear some time!

So it would seem that if you are going thru Texas you stand a good chance of being transferred into california? Wonder what California has that all the rest of the centres don't have that they can process faster?

Also have Texas been behind for some time in order for them to be transferrig cases?

They should do day trips to these places so we can all ask questions!

I read a thread on here someplace that someone had there NOA2 before there NOA1 out of intrest all those received and pending, can they look at there status online cos the NOA2 people on that thread said they can. I know I can't and on the letter the NOA1 I received said I wouldn't be able too until I had, had my fingerprints done.

Don't want to interfere by editing the list, but as there are only four service centres wouldn't it be clearer to group them into fours on the list and list them by date order?

Just a idea, if you want me to do it if your busy I can always do it?

The vermont date I see didn't even move from Jan this year its been stuck there for a couple of months,,,typical

It shows you are still legal in this country, the NOA1 letter, also you need it for a number of things, like when your drivers licence expires, like others said employers, and of course to travel with!

hi everybody! i was spying on you for a few weeks, while putting our stuff together. we didn't file yet because we were in europe for the summer, but we're getting there!

From what I can see already it seems people who have filed at TSC stand a chance of being transferred, the VSC seem like they go into a hole, hopefully that will come out soon, no pattern with the other two service centres

Do you hear straight away if you are transferred to CSC? or does a letter follow?

There are posts of people having not just one but also the Stokes interview.

Whats a stokes interview??

Its pointless trying to check the EAC number on the website until you have got your appointment letter for fingerprints, as its states on your NOA that until you receive that the EAC number isn't registered.

When you got your NOA, does it say that your green card has been extended for another year? Or will you get another notice for that one?

It says that it is extended for another year both to travel and work

The post mark and on the NOA it says Vermont.

Also you can't check your online status until they write to you with you appointment for biometrics, that has certainly changed since I applied last time.

Received my NOA yesterday 23 August in the post NOA receipt date is August 7th

I received my I 797 yesterday but the case numbere doesn't exist when I try to add it to my profile ,,,has anyone else had this problem?
