  1. Now you would expect that an institution that does a procedure hundreds of times per day would have it down pat.  Nope, we thought the medical results would have been sent to the embassy but they told us that overseas sent them the results in the 'wrong format' so they had to resend it, then the doctors had to translate the results and send them to the embassy by this Wednesday 12/6....phew!!!! Hey, I'm still not going to sweat it.

Finaaallly!!!! the embassy just called my mom like literally a minute ago.  She has her interview next Friday 12/15 and they said she only had a month to leave the country....oh boy...Almost there guys....almost at the end!!!

    Good luck to us all!!!

  2. Stop putting yourself through unnecessary stress.  Wait for the notice and focus your energy on getting your application sorted out "if" it's additional info or a start over.

When you get that notice, hit us up on VJ and someone/s will help you to figure it out.

In my opinion anything can play.  I got my green card approved and in my hand in less than 3 months.....so don't worry, everything is fixable except death!!!  Wishing you all the bestt.

    Good luck to us all!!!

    Hi everyone,

I am new here. I submitted my I-130 application for my mom last June 23, 2017. My service center is Nebraska. It's been 5 months but never heard anything yet. I have a question regarding supporting documents, do I need an American passport to support that I am a citizen or naturalization certificate would be enough? I didn't get a US passport but thinking if that's necessary if uscis will ask for the required documents. Anybody who responds would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Welcome rain25.

Yes, you need to prove you are a citizen; your naturalization certificate would be the proof, since you don't have a passport.

Have you contacted uscis concerning your I-130 approval?
