Just to get your opinion on something rather trivial:
I filled out my Mom's place of birth in g-325a as SC Pleasantville, since that's what it said on her driver's license, but now I got my birth certificate (never needed one before) and it says Pleasantville SC. I don't suppose it makes any difference now that we already got NOA2, right?

AOS invoice in process, hope it shows as paid soon!

Am I the only person going through this process in Ireland? Lol!! Haven't seen anyone talking about the Dublin embassy
I've been wondering the same about Finland, don't see many Finnish flags here in the CR/IR-1 discussions.

Received "ACL FOR WWRO" / "PAOSF I-130 FOR NEOPOST DS-1200" emails saying to submit my DS-261 (done yesterday) and pay the AOS fee (still not available in portal).
Blargh.
Same here, I guess we wait again...

Finally could fill out DS-261! We never got an email about it though, perhaps need to check what email address NVC has there.

Oh my God! I'm really sorry to hear about all that!!!!
USCIS and NVC are not making this process easy on us and the toll it is taking on our famillies is really huge!
On the other hand, we are almost there! couple more months and we all will be reunited with our loved ones once and for all!
God bless!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you. Yup, I try to think of the better days ahead! For starters, would really like to be able to fill that DS-261 out! What's keeping NVC?

Is there somewhere to track out case status online once at the NVC stage and afterwards like there was at the USCIS stage?? I've gone here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx but I just keep getting this error message
"An unexpected error has occurred while processing your previous request. The error has been reported to the site administrator; no further action is required".
I get the error message with IE (pop up blocker disabled), but Chrome pops up a window showing the status as "at NVC"

I've been through the same thing!
It will be available either today or tommorrow at most!
Just relax, almost there!!!
Yup, I know. Like many here, this visa process has been an uphill battle for us. Not only has it taken forever, but while we have waited, family members have gotten sick and there is nothing we can do from here, except send our prayers and hope we get to see them again. Annoyingly enough all our belongings (furniture, photos, baby stuff etc.) in the U.S got destroyed by a flood and there was nothing we could do. I know it's only material stuff and can be (for the most part, except for my wedding dress, which had sentimental value to me ) replaced, but still sucks. Anyways, waiting a few days for DS-261 shouldn't be a major thing, but again...it still sucks. Trying to stay positive tho

Darn DS-261 just won't allow itself to be available!

I-864 question regarding foreign income: petitioner has worked in Finland for the last three years and the income (e.g $50000) shows up on IRS transcripts as wages, but total income shows as $0. So in Part 6, do we put $0 on all three years?

I have been doing a little research of my own and found that the NVC has quickened the NVC case number allocation.
Its allocating case numbers daily for every 3 days of NVC receiving the cases from USCIS
(march 5,6,7 got case numbers today)
Therefore i believe that you will receive your case number around thursday or friday next week.
Thank you! I certainly hope so

Called again yesterday for case number and was told it takes 20 business days from receiving the case. We'll see.

Checking in, and hoping for a case number this month

We received NOA1 to Finland (check my signature for a timeline) and when we attempted to expedite, we were told that we need a U.S address for that, but personally I had a hard time believing that was true. Anyways, we changed our address c/o to in-laws and all the mail has gone there ever since. In-laws have scanned the documents and emailed them to us.
edit. USCIS changed the address during a phone call, we didn't fill anything out

Hello , I got an email from NVC , asking me to fill DS-261 from ..
To continue processing your immigrant visa case, you will need to designate an agent by completing form DS-261 (Online Choice of Address and Agent). Upon receipt of the DS-261, we will send instructions for paying the immigrant visa application fee. All future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-261.
I suggest you head to the NVC filers to ask questions about NVC related stuff, they might be able to help you better:

Congratulations to those who have been approved!

Hi Ellinora, NVC got my case on 03/19. Yesterday, they told me call back in next week. i hope they will have it ready by next week. Lemme know when you have your case #
Sure thing! Let's hope it'll be sooner than later.
-
Checking in NVC received case on March 17th.
We called the first time a week after NOA2 and the rep told us to call again in 8 weeks. We called again a week later, found out case was received and the (possibly rather optimistic) rep told us to call again in two weeks for case #.

Just a quick question, those of you who have done DS-260 online recently, is this file an accurate representation of what is going to be asked?
http://shusterman.com/pdf/DS-260.pdf
Thanks

^agreed. As long as the beneficiary has lived two years in his/her home country before the visa is issued, it should be alright. I think one of my friends had the interview postponed a few weeks so that she could fulfill the two year requirement.

For those asking about the RFE, we got one for marriage certificate on Feb 10th. We submitted a copy of the same marriage certificate again with a cover letter explaining it was our real marriage certificate and a paper from civil registrar's that our marriage was indeed registered. We received NOA2 on March 4th.

Another weirdly excited bill payer here!
AOS shows as paid and we just paid IV.
