  1. Folks, Miracles do happen. Today we received our K1 approval from CSC. We received our NOA1 July 19, 2012. Today after 218 days of nail biting, pain, and suffereing we just received a test message with the notification.

On March 1, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Everyone keep the faith, you approvals will come. Best of luck to all of you.

    YAY!!!

  2. Who's still waiting for their noa2? Have you taken any action? Been given service requests but no news?

I see the first few sept filers have been approved and august is at the halfway point. Our case hasn't even been seen so I'm guessing its not a background holdup or something. It's really weird, just having no news and not knowing when to expect news

We are still waiting! We rang few times and they were not helpful :(

  3. Hello veterans... I have a question for you.. I am an American citizen, and my fiance and I sent in our packet for k-1 visa, 1-129F etc.. August 1 2012... it was received and I received a letter in the mail stating they had it and forward it to California center... it is now March 1, 2013... 8 months later and we have heard nothing more.. online it still says processing.. but I am very nervous it got lost or something... any tips, help, advice?! thanks!

We are still waiting....tick tock tick tock....

  4. I think I have everyone beat in this forum as far as waiting goes for the NOA2 at 378 days or one year and twelve days. My interviewing officer told me that the slow processing is because immigration has been overloaded with dream acters and soon even worse when the govt passes the new immigration law.

    so sad..... :(

  5. Check the timeline today and you'll see that 9 or 10 more people were approved at VSC today, some with dates of early September! Not a single peep from anyone going through CSC on this forum.

What's the plan here? CSC has barely moved in the past three months. Surely, the place is being flooded with thousands of applications in January, February, and March.

We're right on the cusp here at CSC with a filing date of 8/6, but haven't seen life in 10-12 weeks.

I thought it was going to pick up after the holidays, but here we are...2 months later...and virtually nothing. VSC to CSC approval rate for the past 2-3 months has easily gotta be 10 or 15 to 1,...at least on VJ.

I agree with you......:( when is CSC going to move faster....hmmm...God knows!

  6. Ok...5 months tomorrow since the petition was filed. I know that it says on the uscis website the CSC is taking 5 1/2 months to process. Doing some reading here tells me different. Should I contact USCIS soon after the middle of next month comes? Can it hurt me? Is there someone there that answers the phone, looks up my file, then moves it to the bottom of the pile for just asking? Or, should I wait until the end of next month to contact them?

It won't hurt you. We have bugged them many times but without success. We are still waiting..........

  7. Hello JV Fam.

let me explain my sitution first. my divorce has taken over a year to be final and today is the 6 month period from the time the degree was signed and sent to the court for the judge to sign. I have not recieved the divorve degree as of yet and it should be here in a couple weeks from what i was told.

So here is my question, i want to send some forms to my fiance to sign and date while we are waiting for the original copies to be sent to me so i can copy them to put into the I-129F packet, so can he sign and date them and send them back with the dates that are before i recieve my divorce degree? or should i just have him hold on to them and then have him sign them when i recieve it?

I just want to get the packet sent out ASAP since the waiting times seem to get longer and longer. We are so excited to get the ball rolling and get this over with so that we can be together.

I dread the waiting and have to draw on all of you to keep me positive. It is such a blessing to have you all here to help, so thank you so much in advance for your responses. :P

We suggest that you should wait for your divorce decree and then you proceed with your application.

  8. Hi Guys. I know this is not in any way immigration related but I hope someone hear will understand. My little dog Luigi died today. He was my best friend. I am devastated. This is supposed to be a happy time. I'm getting married next month. And nothing seems to matter right now. I just feel lost right now. Sorry for being so depressing. I guess I really just need to get this out of my system and I thank you for listening.

Sorry to hear that but think of the good times you had with Luigi.

  9. As per USCIS they are transferred some of their workloads to the NSC, does it means they have more time now to process K1 petition? This will be great if that will happened, more VSC filers will be happy. Hmmm..... What about CSC?

Here's the link for the transfer My link

Where did you find this btw?

  10. It could indirectly affect K1's by freeing up more personnel to work on them at VSC. But I don't think it will impact CSC,unless they also transfer cases.

I guess I would be spending another Christmas in Sweden...
