  1. I'm confused!!! So I will be returning to the states with my husband but once we arrive to the airport but before we go through immigration they always have two lines, one line is for US citizens and residents and the other is for tourist and visa holders. So my question is can I go with my husband to the tourist/visa holder line or do we have to part ways when we go through immigration? Or can he come with me to the US citizen line? I want to be with my husband when he goes through immigration. lol

Thanks for your response in advance!

  3. We are worried because even if we have a case complete, we got checklist for things to modify that are already right. So we were wondering if some people ever had this type of issue.

For exemple, they ask to write the name of city of birth when it's already written ^^ That's pretty weird.

Don't worry because we also got a checklist after case complete to correct things that we already did in the first checklist.. its confusing because you don't whether to put the same answers from the supposedly "corrected AOS", we know how you feel :(

  4. We got a checklist the same day as case complete o.O I think because they reviewed and approved the DS-260 before even looking at the civil documents (we got a checklist for the civil documents). We called to find out about the checklist and they basically said "we don't know why you got a checklist, your case is complete"

If it's a generic checklist (which is likely the case), it's probably a "false" checklist that you can ignore, but CALL THE NVC to confirm.

If there are specific things mentioned that were missed, CALL THE NVC to see what you need to do.

I can't remember whether we got 3 or 4 checklists through the whole process (and only one was legitimate -- but luckily overturned on supervisor re-review), but I think the NVC should be really trying harder NOT to generate checklists. It's confusing, scary, and disheartening to do everything correctly and still get them.

Yes I will call NVC today and see what is going on because I'm really worried! Abs I'm glad you described everything I'm feeling because it is true and I don't like when NVC does that... :(

Yes I did. I've been posting on this forum that I haven't been able to update my signature timeline because lately I can't get to a computer, I have been reading and posting from my mobile phone.
