My husbands visa was approved this morning. Everything went very smoothly. Thanks to everyone on here for all the support!

You have to be patient. I know you want your interview date now. But be practical. The embassy has been closed more than open for over a month. That means all interviews that were scheduled have to be rescheduled.
Look what happened for India because of the monsoons. All July people got moved to August. So no new appointments were made.
You can't expect them to start scheduling new appointments when they aren't complete with what they have.
Now I know they were closed the last week because of the terror alerts.
You just have to be patient. Nothing to freak out about you at least know by turning on the news exactly what's going on with your embassy.
All you can do is call and wait. Even contact your embassy maybe they can say something to the issue on how backlogged they are.
Goodness our poor Cambodia peeps here been waiting since March.

It would really help guesstimating if everyone would update their timelines. Especially my consulate Albania VJ members cause there really is not much to compare to. I don't know what I would have done without the help of VJ. Thank you!

Sometimes it can take a week or two to get the P4 email. If you've been told a date by the NVC, believe it!

I hope everyone is calling. And remember just because one embassy got schedule they still working ya'll. But at least we see movement.

Stevie B this is not true. You have said this before and its wrong. The embassy has no idea about us IR1/CR1 unless we are DCF or Expedite. NVC schedules for us okay not embassy.
There is a calendar just like what the K1's use when they get to schedule their interviews. The embassy sends the calendar with how many slots and dates are available to CR1/IR1 and others waiting at NVC. The NVC starts assigning.
Once scheduled your casefile is bundled up and sent to the embassy where they do their logging and assign your case to a CO to review and prepare for interview.
******To every one here this is normal. As i stated before scheduling after the 10th to the 20th use to be the norm up until January. Nothing sinister is going own so no conspiracy theories here. just hang on.
And the person answering the phone is just an operator. They are told one way or another no interviews or they are scheduling. It's coming people.

at people a PSA I need to do. I think we got a bit spoiled since January. Because honestly the 2nd week of the month was the usual interview scheduling. Like around now.
But at end of January they started scheduling like the last couple of days of month for the next round and we got use to it and liked it. It went like this.
January 28 - Feb 8- started interviews scheduled for March
Feb 28 - march 7- started interviews scheduled for April
March 28 - April 7- started interviews scheduled for May
April 28 - may 8 - started interviews scheduled for June
May 28 - June 8- started interviews scheduled for July
July XX-July XX- started interviews scheduled for August
So thats how it was, I believe the AOS fiasco just messed everything up and slowed NVC down to "all hands on deck" and focusing on getting that logjam going.
Don't worry the interviews will be coming and you will be crying and posting.
Do me a favor when you get your appointment just post the date I will update the list. Cuz i believe this will come in a flood. I think what they are doing is getting ready to release a major batch email of interview appointments. So hang in their people.

YES!! Send it!! The NVC told me send everything as soon as possible. As long as you have the barcode coversheet. I did and was approved quickly.
