hi everyone! we are waiting for the fbi thing to clear but i was wondering what exactly it is. do they check with your country of birth? i dont understand

We got the emails this morning says that a notice has been sent to welcome the new permanant resident....after being in FBI namechecks this is such a relief. OMG i am so very happy

Received the following emails from famous CRIS:

• March 13 mailed notice regarding the registration of new permanent resident
  
• March 16 ordered production of new card
  
• March 21 mailed AOS approval
  

According to your experience guys, which maile here that has the GREEN CARD? Are they gonna send it separate?

NOTE:

• We moved to a new address on March 10
  
• US Postal changed address online March 12
  
• USCIS changed address online March 12
  

Didn't get anything forwarded mail from my new address since.

You should get an email within a couple of days or so saying that an approval notice was mailed (that's the card). Then the card should come in the mail right after that.

That should be the last email from them.

If it is a 2 year conditional one, they will not reminde you when to file to lift the conditions on it, that is up to you to remember.

Hi to all!

After getting an email regarding ordering the production of green card what is next email that Cris usually send?

I changed my address online instead of filling out AR-11 and they mailed as a confirmation.

I mailed the change of adress (AR-11) via mail to USCIS (Kentucky).

Will I get a confirmation that they received the form?

Anyone here that experienced the same situation?

Is the interview is for your Adustment of Status??? Being married and not together whatever reasons you may have is a RED FLAG. When we went for interview we brought everything we submitted when we filed our Adj. Of Status such as: Pictures, joint bank statement, lease of the apartment, utility bills, marriage certificate, insurance all of these with both our names. We answered the following questions: When we got married, how did we meet, where do we live as husband and wife, when did I meet him.

Sorry, but I never heard anybody who are married that are not living together unless they are in the process of divorce or something.

Im an international student and married to an American citizen. I have an interview for Green card coming up in 2 weeks. We actually dont live together due to some circumstances. My questions are what should I bring along with me to the interview that will help me, and what kind of questions that involved in the interview. Would the fact that we dont live together against us? Any one has experienced the same situation or have knowledge about this please help. ASAP

Received the following email from CRIS:

March 13, 2007 ---- Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident. March 19 already did get anything yet.

March 16, 2007 ----- ordered production of your new card.

Any Idea???

This makes me worry because On March 10 we moved to a new address and at the same time we filled out an application at USPS for change of address I even changed our address at USCIS online. Then March 13 I got email from CRIS that they mailed us a welcome letter. I talked to our postoffice people that we are waiting for an important document from USCIS and they said that they will just forward all mails to our new address.

Did you have interview?

My wife's green card arrived today. We had been expecting a notice confirming the email which said the card had been ordered. We were pleasantly surprised. Her 2 year card has not expired yet. I gotta tell you I like CSC a lot better than I liked NSC.

12/18/2006 Sent I-751 to CSC with $275 enclosed

12/23/2006 CIS returned the app with note that fee was only $205

12/26/2006 Sent I-751 again with $205 enclosed

01/10/2007 NOA with 1 year extension

01/11/2007 Received notice of biometric appointment

01/23/2007 Biometrics taken

02/24/2007 Email from CIS that card production has been ordered

03/01/2007 Green Card arrived in the mail.

A few days after "2" you will get your Green Card in the mail.
