I have a big box containing all my immigration paperwork, including my K1, AOS, ROC & N-400 applications. It’s a lot of paper.
I’m probably moving across country soon and I need to declutter big style.
I have an electronic and hard copy of my naturalization certificate. Do you think I could burn / shred everything else now?
I scanned all paperwork and saved on cloud storage sites. The hard copy still in a box lol... maybe i will get rid of it in a year....

She should be able to check online at Global Entry web site....
For mine, I still see the GC under the “Update Documents” section.
I am still going to go back to fix it.. it is annoying but i live close to airport so not a big deal.

Updates....
I did go back to update my documents and checked online. I have United States with the gold flag under “Citizenship”. The green card was deleted under the “Permanent Residency” section but in the “proving you may enter the United States.” section, i still see the unexpired green card. The agent said he can’t delete it but assured me I am all set and won’t have issue using Global Entry.

GE offices do this change on a walk in basis, no appointment needed, except apparently for the NY Bowling Green one. I did mine at JFK airport.
Although other changes to your profile can be made on the trusted traveler website, GC to US Passport is considered a significant change that only a GE center can do in person.
I hope this is helpful.
I had to do the same at the Atlanta airport as I can’t update it online. The CBP agent added my new passport and I was done in 5 minutes. However the agent didn’t delete my green card information. Now online profile shows I have both lol. Will find out when I travel internationally.
Also the agent entered the wrong passport number. So please triple check online after agent added your new passport.

I noticed people are putting the same date for NC Recd as PP Recd in the tracker. Did you get your naturalization certificated returned along with the passports? I was told it will come separately so I am confused and concerned.
For mine, I received the NC 2 days after passport. Do you use USPS Informed Delivery? That's the best way to know if you have the NC coming in the mail.

Since he doesn't have a car, where does he put his phone? He can't leave it at home because he needs it to Uber back home. Do they have lockers there?
They asked me to turn off the phone (they watched you doing it) before I can go through metal detector. They did not prohibit me from bringing the phone into the building.

Exactly... it was so crowded when i had my interview. they have to deal with a lot of people and the amount of paperwork on a daily basis.
That is great! Now just relax and be ready for the ceremony!

Yes... it was indeed a long journey... I was so glad it is over!
I waited about 3 weeks for the oath after i got the online notice but my paper notice only arrived the day before the ceremony! It was all worth the wait... you will get there soon too!!

It depends on the field office... for mine, the estimated completion is November 2019. I had my interview in July and oath in August. So it is possible.

He asked me several questions about my previous marriage so be prepared if you obtained your GC through marriage. At the end he gave me the form saying that my application has been recommended for approval but my status has not been updated yet.
Sounds about right about the Atlanta field office staffs lol.... the IO officer who interviewed me kept yawning. Can tell they want to get off work ASAP 🤣

I had my interview on Aug 12 at 8:25 AM. I was called in for interview at exactly 8:25 (to my surprise) and was out of building by 8:45. Got approval notification @ 11 AM.
My wife's interview was 2 days later at 9:30 and she had to wait like only 5 minutes before she was called in. She got her approval 5 minutes after the interview was over. We were still in the building.
Atlanta is definitely getting much better now

I received mine two days after passport in the priority mail envelope since I used expedite. Did you file routine or expedite?

I did expedite. Received my passport book on 8/14 via priority mail express and the certificate back on 8/16 via priority mail.
