Called NVC at 11:35 and the guy picked up at 12:10 EST.............. strange................

i guess they attend all calls whoever gets into before 12.....

but still no update on my case..

he said they need 30 business day to review ..

So everyone is complaining that this thread is so quiet today so I thought I would make some noise..

FINALLY.... they accepted my corrected AOS and removed the Police certificate requirement. Now all I am waiting for is the supervisor to clear the birth cert.

I was told by the supervisor to call back Wednesday night... so now I wait... and for extra insurance.... a certified copy of the birth cert will be delivered tomorrow morning.

I'm so close I can taste it..

Your a day before me with a Case Number lol. Let us know if they have reviewed your IV package yet. I had a small anxiety attack when I received the Checklist for my AOS. Not fun. You're almost there... Hang tight.

I'm pretty sure it's a false one and would like to share it here for confirmation on that...I think it means the AOS has been reviewed and accepted as it was sent to my husband, the petitioner. or does it mean the DS260 was reviewed and accepted?:

The only confusing part for me is it's called (Checklist Cover Letter)...does that show up on everyone's checklist? see bottom of post for copy of page 2 of this checklist letter.

i got the same one . so i called NVC and they said just discard it. it sent because my AOS is accepted.

for DS 260, i am not sure . i called NVC 2 times and they both said they will review DS 260 when they review IV package..

so finger crossed.......

to get CC very soon hopefully next wee friday...

i just talked to guy

he said he received my IV package on april 21 ( that i already knew ).

but he said he still NOT review my DS 260 which i submitted on april 9th.

is this normal?

they said they will only review DS 260 while they open my IV package .

they don't open that package yet and tell me to wait ...

so how do i find out myDS 260 accepted or not???

some VJer said their DS 260 has been accepted and they knew by calling NVC..

should i call again tomorrow???

She suggested that after the official summer season ends the prices go down

for most things dramatically. If you would like to be added to the list to be

For this to become a reality everyone's input is needed.

Please make any suggestions related to timing or venue to anyone

Dates in Aug and Sept have been suggested.

I went ahead and called NVC as I could not wait any longer. I spoke to nice guy Kevin and he cruelly put me on hold for a while only to come back and tell me.. CASE COMPLETE. What?! I'm in shock right now.
