    Hello everyone,
So we went to our interview today in San Bernardino, California. I am adjusting my status through my wifey who is a USC. I came in 2000 on a tourist visa and overstayed (I was a little kid back then).
We entered the suite, and the security guard asked for our letter. We gave it to him, along with my foreign passport, and my wife's driver's license. Both guards were really nice.
Our appointment was at 7:50 A.M., but we got there around 7:30 A.M. Two other couples were already there. Those two couples went in first, and my wife and I were called around 8:30 A.M.
I believe the officer was from the Philippines, she was very nice. There was another blonde lady who was also an officer who seemed really nice. We walked into her office, and she asked us the following questions.
    To my wife:
    Name
    DOB
    Phone No.
    Address
How long we knew each other
    How we met
Why did we need a joint sponsor
    To me:
    Name
    DOB
    Phone No.
    Address
When and where did I enter the country (she asked me this twice)
Was I inspected by an officer upon arrival
Then she asked all the twenty something questions on the paperwork (i.e. Am I a communist, etc.) she even laughed when she was asking me if I had ever murdered someone (or something like that).
    To both of us:
    Where the wedding was held
    Where the reception was held
    Who attended our wedding
    Any kids?
    Proof of marriage:
She took copies of our phone bills, bank statements, pink slip of our cars (both of our names on them). Then she took a couple of pictures from our albums, and pointed to one of our pics of my wife and her father dancing at the wedding. She asked us who he is and I answered "my father in law." Then she took a couple more photos and left to make copies.
About 5 minutes later she came back and returned to us our ID's, kept my EAD and I94. She then proceeded to fill out a Notice to Conditional Permanent Resident Alien, and said she had decided to approve us. She explained to me that 90 days before the second anniversary of my approval I had to apply to remove the conditions on my status. We thanked her, said goodbye, and left.
The entire interview must have taken between 15 and 20 minutes. The entire process took about 2 months and a half.
We'd like to thank everyone who helped us here. We really appreciate it! Now my wife and I can finally begin our plans to travel to Ireland!!! (and Peru!)
P.S.: Does anyone know how I can change my profile section of "Filed for" from AOS (pending) to approved???

I have my interview next Wednesday. Got tons of evidence, marriage is legit, so we are not sweating it at all.
    Good luck to everyone!

Your case is kind of the same as mine.
I came on a tourist visa many many years ago. Overstayed (my parents' decision, not mine). I lived my life, made the U.S. my country, fell deeply in love, got married, and now I am adjusting my status through marriage, my wifey is a us citizen.
Nothing to worry about. Just put together about $1400 for the fees. But always remember, ignorance is not an excuse. Gotta research everything before making a decision. So if you wanted to stay in the states, you should have researched how.
Quick question, how long have you and your husband been married?

The rich to the front, the poor to the back of the line.
    Your thinking is very primitive.

Dude, just hold your urge to leave the U.S. for your honeymoon until after everything is straighten out. So many beautiful places to see here in the states! Just go somewhere around here, and later on do the Europe thing or whatever you have planned. My wife and I stayed in a nearby city after our wedding, and we are saving money towards a real honey moon once my paperwork goes through.
