Yes I have those ones. But not sure if I can put them all in one file. Or if they want the most recent in one file and the old ones in another.

i hope u know sending all 3 of them is optional. u only required to send the most recent which is 2018...unless u do that and they still ask u to send the rest...otherwise just send the 2018 tax transcript.

Yes, I -864 requires the signature, but I signed it on the computer through Adobe Reader. So I never used a pen.

And for your question, just today I actually sent my original birth certificate by express mail to Ukraine. I hope it'll get there on time...

Unless thats something new and acceptable now.. all i know is u needed to physically sign ur document with pen..They never accepted in the past anything else.

In October 2019 I received approved I-130 petitions for both of my parents. In November 2019 I have also received the welcome letters (NVC Case Number and Invoice ID number) from NVC. I have paid the NVC fees(both AOS fees and IV fees), but have not yet submitted either the IV package or the AOS package.

My parents have not yet decided on when they want to immigrate to the US. So, I would like to keep the I-130 and NVC case open as long as possible, till they decide. I read somewhere that NVC will keep the case open as long as I communicate with them, and that after one year of no communication, the case is closed.

    Questions:

    1. How long is an approved I-130 valid for?

    2. How long can I keep the NVC Case Open?

    3. How and what does one communicate with the NVC to keep the case open? And who communicates – can I as the petitioner communicate or do my parents as the applicants need to communicate?

I asked NVC when i decided to delay my approved i-130 for my husband.only now i have submitted all documents this new year. They had told me that as long as u keep in touch with them every now and then or once a year.. ur case stays open.. there is no end date or anything like that..just call them once in a while.. ur parents dont have to do that .. u the petitioner must do all that coz u have all their information.. i just hate the more than 30minutes of waiting on hold to talk to someone once u get thru.

  4. Happy New Year great people!!..I need ur help..I am absolutely having a hard time uploading my bank statements to CEAC as part of my proof of assets. I have all my statements from 2 accounts of checking and 2 of savings. I did the affidavit of support without a joint sponsor coz i have enough (cash) assets to make up the difference. I know NVC doesnt want u to break down a file... they want all in one as i understand it. Can somebody who has done it before pliz help me out. I was thinking of going to Staples here in New york so they can put everything together and compress the file. i am technologically challenged. i dont even know how to put all the statements in one file.Somebody help me pliz. I was so hoping to send everything before the brand new year.

    Hello,

My husband and I received a notice from the NVC telling us that we are now documentarily qualified and that they will work with the embassy in Johannesburg to schedule a visa interview. We got this email over two months ago now and have still not heard anything about an interview. Does anyone have any idea of how long it takes to get an interview scheduled in South Africa for the IR1/CR1 visa?

Any information would be super helpful! Thanks so much!

    Meagan and Andrew

Congratulations for being documentarily qualified. i am interested in the answer u gonna get also becoz my husband will also be interviewed at the Johannesburg consulate at some point.

My sister also wants to drag out her application for several years, do you think by submitting 1 docs at a time will extend the time limit for 1 year for each docs submission?

i have bn dragging mine since i paid all the fees at nvc..i have uploaded some documents but havent submitted any.. i called nvc yesterday and i remember asking the guy how i have to submit the documents.. he told me there is no time limit as long as i log into my ceac account and call nvc  once in a while.. i was totally received since i got my case number and all in november of last year.

It's been 2 months since I got NOA2 but I'm still waiting my case number, I called NVC and told to send NOA2 to NVCresearch and I got an email from them telling me that  I don't have to do anything they are going to contact USCIS. Anybody knows when I can expect a response from them? are they going to give me a case number? what Can I expect?

u shud be getting it anytime now coz i got mine after 6/7 weeks or so.. i know the waiting is frustrating.

Does anyone know how long it will take for me to receive my NVC notification, how do we get in email or letter and who gets it petitioner or beneficiary? Received our NOA2 June 11 but it seems other people are getting theirs with in 2 to 3 weeks of NOA2.

i got mine after 7weeks or so if am not mistaken. They will email u both if they have both of ur email addresses. u can call them and ask if they have received ur approved I-130 petition.. there is no harm in that.. i started calling after 4weeks i believe.

I'm a U.S citizen sponsoring my wife with the I130. MY case was recently approved by Texas Service Center and is now being sent to NVC. I'm hoping to get a head start and start gathering and filing out the necessary documents now. Input and guidance would be appreciated

For AOS, my brother will be acting as a joint sponsor although I already make above the poverty line. Even though we live in the same household, would he use the I864A? or just the I864?

He would use the I-864A coz u live together and u r family.. u share the same address.

    Thank you!

Yes I really was nervous at first, but the wait from between documents submission and interview was so long (11:30 to 1pm!) that I began to fall asleep! So I lost my nervousness.

Then I got nervous again as the lady before me at the counter was there for ages and now was raising her voice (you can really get the interview unless both people really raise their voice). It appeared she was arguing with the officer and also some what pleading with him. She was saying something about her sister being in a coma in hospital at some point, so she couldn’t get something or attend something due to that issue. The consular officer said something like (as loud as her) Ma'am I’m sorry about your sister, but at this time I’m not able to follow and establish the relationship between you with your husband so I cannot  .... and I didn’t hear the rest.

She left in in a huff.

I was thinking oh no im

gonna be called to the officer who is maybe already annoyed 🤭🤷🏽‍♀️

But someone else was  was called instead.

Then I got called right after, but to another counter with a pleasant female officer. She had a nice smile. Very welcoming.

I noticed she was married so I thought she must understand why we are doing this, she has a significant other 🙏🏾

Oh my goodness..hearing that conversation before would have rattled my nerves too without a doubt..its hard to hear that u dont have enough proof of ur relationship when u bn waiting all this time to prove it to them.

    My interview was wonderful.

To gain entry to embassy you show your interview letter.

    Then airport style security.

Once inside at reception : you get a sticker on your letter with your ticket number and window number where you will be seen

    11.30 ( exact appointment time)

    First part -

    Documents:

A person collected original documents and scanned my finger prints and photos.

Documents I was asked to give :

    1. courier registration confirmation

    2. passport

    3. birth certificate

    4. marriage certificate

    5. police certificates (I had 3 different countries )

Also sked when I did my medical and he write it on my form.

They give back the documents, but keep your passport and U.K. police certificate.

Then you wait for your interview.

It wasn’t busy but my God we waited.

    13:04

    Second part -

    Interview

You go to a window and are asked to raise your right hand to swear no lies. Then she gave back some original documents.

At this time she asked me questions

    1. Husband name

    2. City and state he lives

    3. When did we meet.

    4.  How long we were in a relationship.

    5. When did I last see my husband

    Then she says it’s approved!

She said they will wait for your medical report before the visa is issued in your passport. She said wait for an email.

She gave me a blue slip

    13:10. I was done.

She kept the passport and the U.K. police certificate.

Thanks for this detailed update and congratulations for sailing thru the interview..were u nervous.
